Behind the glow 🌱 Growing the perfect pitch takes more than grass; it takes teamwork and innovation. To help create the elite playing surface at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park ahead of the FIFA World Cup 26 Los Angeles™, Clark installed electrical infrastructure to power nine SGL LED grow lights to stimulate photosynthesis, supporting healthy grass growth and recovery between matches. Our teams are laying the groundwork for success — literally! 🏗️ Over the past week, Clark Concrete and Baker Construction made their mark with the first two slab-on-grade pours at the Inova Alexandria Hospital project, pouring nearly 300 cubic yards of concrete across 14,000 square feet. This massive effort spans from the loading dock under the new parking garage to the utility plant beneath the hospital building. 👏 Kudos to both teams for a job well done! Clark Water and Carta Advisors' Building Solutions Group recently teamed up to overcome a complex diverter wall installation at the Shockoe Diversion Structure in Richmond, VA.🤝 A strategic advisor to Clark, Carta Building Solutions Group excels in delivering personalized engineering and consulting services for project teams. Working closely with Clark Water, the Carta team engineered a solution that enabled Clark Water to self-perform over 50 pieces of precast wall sections within the constrained site, transforming obstacles into opportunities. Since topping out the first section of the end wall in December, work on the support structure for the trash gate and arch sewer emergency gatehouse (ASEG) replacement moves forward, with the team continuing to problem-solve and drive progress at each phase. Take me out to the ballgame! ⚾️ Baseball’s Opening Day is here, and as fans across the country gear up for another exciting season, we’re looking back at some of the ballparks we’ve had the privilege of building over the years. 🏟️ Nationals Park in Washington, DC—Completed in 2008, the home of the Washington Nationals is a 1.1M square-foot stadium that seats over 41,000 fans. 🏟️ PETCO Park in San Diego, CA - Home to the San Diego Padres, this is another 1.1M square-foot ballpark that features 42,000 seats, with additional capacity for standing room, and 60 suites. In 2024, we completed Petco Park Gallagher Square, an elevated deck with concessions, retail, a playground, pickleball courts, a dog park, and an outdoor concert space. 👏🏗️ Congratulations to Vision McMillan Partners on the substantial completion of the infrastructure and site work for the Reservoir District at the historic McMillan Water Filtration site in Washington, DC. During construction, Clark teams successfully incorporated historic concrete structures into the site staircase, seamlessly blending the past with present-day advancements. Teams also had utility tie-ins in North Capitol Street including overset storm manholes. Once fully developed, 10 new blocks of DC will be their own mini-neighborhood, complete with public space enhancements, including traffic signals, sidewalks, and paving. Thank you to our trade partners who helped make this project a reality! 

Clark Construction Group joined representatives from the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to celebrate the groundbreaking of the New Childhood Development Center in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. 👦👧 This ceremoniously begins construction of the 37,300-square-foot, single-story preschool center, which will provide childcare for over 300 children in military families.
