One good idea can have a huge positive impact. Take the case of our Portal North Bridge project in New Jersey. Rather than building the three enormous arches that make up the bridge on site, we decided to manufacture them 240 kilometers to the north and float them down the Hudson River on barges for installation. We were very happy that so many shareholders could attend our 2025 Annual General Meeting in Stockholm today. As our peak decision-making body, the AGM is where shareholders have their say on important questions for the company.
Today we held our 2025 Annual General Meeting in Stockholm. I really appreciate the opportunity this meeting offers to speak with and hear from our shareholders. Among its decisions, the AGM once again approved the Skanska employee ownership program, starting in 2026. Seop offers all employees the opportunity to invest in our company and has been much appreciated since it was introduced in 2008. The meeting also voted to approve a dividend of SEK 8.00 per share. Both decisions were in accordance with the Board’s proposals. Shareholders also elected Martin Lindqvist, former President and CEO of SSAB, as a new member of the Board, and thanked Fredrik Lundberg and Jan Gurander for the service on the Board of Skanska. It was a good 2024, and I would like to thank all our customers, partners, colleagues and shareholders for their support. I look forward to a successful 2025 together with you all. We are excited to announce that we have divested the first building in the office complex Equilibrium in Bucharest, Romania, The buyer is Gordiusz Private Equity Fund, managed by Gránit Asset Management. This building offers a total leasable area of around 21,000 square meters and is fully let. As a whole, the complex consists of two buildings that is developed with the aim of redefining workspaces and provide a completely new aesthetic perspective on the area. Its environmentally friendly features are recognized by a LEED Platinum certification. Some ideas just make sense. I had the opportunity recently to visit our Portal North Bridge project in New Jersey. Over 200,000 people cross the existing bridge by train every single day. Our Skanska joint venture is replacing the 115-year-old bridge with a modern version, including a 354-meter center span over the Hackensack River, just outside of New York. I was impressed by our team's innovative approach.
