#2025WaterWeek Spotlight | West Basin Municipal Water District Headquartered in Carson, CA, West Basin Municipal Water District provides high-quality drinking and recycled water across its 185-square-mile service area. One of West Basin’s latest initiatives—the Palos Verdes Recycled Water Pipeline Project—is delivering recycled water to the Palos Verdes Peninsula for the very first time. With six new connections in Torrance and Palos Verdes Estates, this project extends the district’s recycled water infrastructure while supporting long-term water sustainability across the region. Pipeline construction was expected to wrap up by early fall 2024, with the new recycled water pump station slated for completion by spring 2025. 💧 #2025WaterWeek Spotlight | Yorba Linda Water District For over a century, Yorba Linda Water District (YLWD) has delivered reliable water and sewer services with a strong commitment to public health, the environment, and financial integrity. This year, YLWD is moving forward with a project to replace approximately 2,650 feet of aging 6-inch waterlines in several residential areas—including Mandarin Ln, Shinnyo-En, and Vallecito Ln. The upgraded 8- to 10-inch pipelines will improve fire flow and ensure continued, dependable service for the community.
