After hearing him as the keynote at an event last year, CAC's executive director Rebecca V. Nellis was impressed by Chris Vasami and his story – baseball player, entrepreneur, cancer survivor and more. We're thrilled he is going to join us at our 15th annual National Conference on Work & Cancer in June, but we couldn't wait until then. To close out #AYAware week, Rebecca chatted with Chris to get to know him a little better and give a tease for what you can look forward to in June: https://lnkd.in/erZTNXUS #bethebossovercancer #cacconf #ayacancer #AYACancerAwareness #patientadvocacy

Every April we are proud to recognize #AYAware Week and join with the larger cancer community to shine a light on the unique experiences and needs of adolescent and young adult (AYA) patients and survivors. While we have supported the AYA community for decades, last year CAC launched two new channels on our website for people specifically early in their career. These collections of articles cover relevant topics for people at work (https://lnkd.in/e7jNjcyh) or looking for work (https://lnkd.in/eFiyYg-S). We will continue to grow these channels and complementary programs through this year and beyond, including sharing insights from our 2025 Early Career Needs Assessment Survey. The new website channels and the survey were made possible through a partnership with the Andrea Argenio Foundation. Stay tuned for more to come! #bethebossovercancer #ayacancer #ayacancerawarenes #patientadvocacy
