Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating the incredible careers of Gary Nulliner and Michael Carlson as they step into retirement! Gary is retiring from our Water Resources Department after an amazing 41 years of service, and Michael is retiring from our Survey Department after 34 years! Their dedication, expertise, and mentorship have left a lasting impression – not just on our company, but on the many colleagues and friends they’ve worked with over the years! Gary and Michael – thank you for everything you’ve done for BF&S! Wishing you both a retirement filled with relaxation, adventure and all the things you love. Congratulations!

Last week, we had a fantastic time at Purdue University Road School! We were proud to have so many of our team members presenting throughout the conference, sharing their expertise with fellow industry professionals. A big thank you to our clients who joined us for our annual Client Appreciation Dinner on Wednesday night—it’s always great to connect outside of sessions! This year’s dinner featured a special guest, political cartoonist Gary Varvel, who shared some of his best work throughout his career.

Saturday was the Central Indiana Regional Science and Engineering Fair hosted by Marian University Indianapolis. Our own, Julia Carrillo, had the opportunity to participate as a judge, engaging with junior and senior division students, exploring their innovative projects, and asking thought-provoking questions. It was a rewarding experience to support and encourage the next generation of scientists and engineers!
