  • Still buzzing from Uplift 2025. What an incredible gathering of brilliant minds and future-ready leaders. We came together to explore what it means to lead with boldness, humanity, and vision—and we’re walking away motivated to get after it and put those insights into action. To everyone who joined us: thank you for showing up, leaning in, and being part of this movement. Wishing you safe travels home and time to reflect, recharge, and integrate everything we learned together. And this is just the beginning. Session recordings, fresh tools, and new research will be available each week over the next month at: 👉 https://lnkd.in/gSFghCDZ Let’s keep building what’s next.

  • Two days. Countless insights. One unifying theme: transformational leadership starts with being deeply human. Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist Charles Duhigg reminded us that high-growth leadership isn’t just about direction—it’s about connection. Drawing from his book Supercommunicators, he revealed how the best leaders turn difficult conversations into opportunities for innovation and trust. In a data-packed session, University of Oxford researcher Jan-Emmanuel De Neve proved what we’ve long believed: well-being isn’t just good for people—it’s good for business. Alongside Unilever leaders, he showed how prioritizing human transformation can drive productivity, retention, and financial performance. Adam Grant and Andrew McAfee gave us a glimpse into the future: one where thriving organizations rethink leadership itself. Their challenge to us? Don’t just adopt AI—play, iterate and take risks. Dr. Becky Kennedy of Good Inside shared a powerful message: some of the best leadership lessons happen at home. Through parenting, she showed how empathy, resilience, and care can shape cultures where people—and performance—flourish. Her reminder: connection isn’t built in perfection, but in how we show up after we get it wrong. #Uplift2025 may be over, but the momentum is just beginning. The path forward is human. Let’s keep building it—together. https://lnkd.in/g8tvq6bW

  • Day One at #Uplift2025 was packed with bold ideas and deeply human insights. ✨ We explored how art, aesthetics, and storytelling can transform workplace design—boosting creativity, well-being, and connection. ✨ We looked at how AI can speed up innovation—or stall it—and uncovered new strategies for balancing originality with optimization. ✨ Through personal storytelling and reflection, we tapped into the creative spark that fuels motivation, meaning, and purpose at work. ✨ We tackled the $2.2T workforce performance crisis and shared real tools to help managers lead with more humanity in a world that’s moving faster than ever. ✨ And we closed with profound insights (and lots of laughter) from Trevor Noah, who reminded us that whether in comedy or leadership communication, context shapes how people interpret meaning. We’re just getting started. Day Two, here we come. https://lnkd.in/g8tvq6bW

BetterUp CEO Alexi Robichaux kicked off Day One of #Uplift2025 with an energizing keynote that reframed the conversation on performance. Today, leaders are being asked to do more with less—and do it faster than ever. But what does performance really mean in a world where the rules keep changing? Alexi introduced a new science-backed framework built around three interconnected types of performance: 🔹 Basic performance (execution and productivity) 🔹 Collaborative performance (alignment, coaching, recognition) 🔹 Adaptive performance (creativity, agility, connection) All three are powered by the same fuel: motivation, optimism, and agency. But there’s a problem. Across BetterUp’s global dataset, performance is in decline—especially adaptive performance. Focus is fading. Mattering is eroding. And motivation? It’s the most at risk. His call to action was clear: To drive real, lasting transformation, we have to reignite what makes us human. And he wasn’t alone. Joining him onstage were three pioneering leaders who are doing just that within their organizations with the help of BetterUp: ✨ Tonya Harris Cornileus PhD, SHRM-SCP, CPC, SVP of Learning and Talent Solutions at Disney ✨ Angela Beatty, Chief Leadership & HR Officer at Accenture ✨ Tracey Franklin, Chief People & Digital Technology Officer at Moderna Each of them shared how they're using the Human Transformation Platform to improve performance at scale—leveraging cutting-edge technology to bring life-changing growth to people everywhere. And at Uplift, that’s exactly what we’re here to do. https://lnkd.in/g8tvq6bW

  • "The pace of technological, geopolitical, and market change means constant organizational change. This can result in a high baseline level of uncertainty, worry, and stress," Gabriella Rosen Kellerman, MD, chief innovation officer at BetterUp told Newsweek. "Asking about a topic like stress doesn't mean you have to know how to solve a problem. It shows that you care, as a manager, and you're paying attention to the employee's whole person. You can simply express empathy and recommend resources available through your organization." https://lnkd.in/gXczUaWA

  • Just announced: Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and bestselling author Charles Duhigg is joining the keynote stage at #Uplift2025 in NYC next week. In a world moving faster than ever, growth isn’t just about having the right strategy—it’s about bringing people with you. That’s where great communicators shine. Charles will take us inside the research behind his new book, Supercommunicators, exploring how high-impact communication fuels trust, alignment, and transformation—even in the most complex environments. This session is for every leader navigating hard conversations, building trust through change, and trying to move faster—without leaving people behind. We can’t wait for this one. 📍 New York City 🗓 April 2–3 🔗 https://lnkd.in/g8tvq6bW

How can managers help their employees embrace AI? According to Alexi Robichaux, CEO and Co-Founder of BetterUp, senior leaders must "help employees become more pilots and less passengers as they think about adopting new technologies." When it comes to AI, workers generally adopt one of two mindsets: 👩✈️Pilots: High-optimism, high agency and embrace the new technology. ✈️ Passengers: Slower to adopt a new technology and have a pessimistic view of it. Here's where leaders come in. "Optimism is one of the most powerful human skills," says Robichaux. "These mindsets are very coachable. They're teachable... We can learn to be optimists." Do you consider yourself a pilot or a passenger when it comes to embracing AI? Share your thoughts below.
