During Quinnipiac University’s hockey and basketball season, Banton hosts a series of employee appreciation events. Each group has the opportunity to watch the game from Quinnipiac’s exclusive University Club while enjoying a delicious dinner and spending quality time with their colleagues. Recently, Banton’s project management and office administration teams had the pleasure of witnessing QU’s wins against Cornell and St. Lawrence. It was a great opportunity for the two groups to spend time together outside of the office environment, while building upon their strong sense of camaraderie.

Banton’s Electrical Division was honored to continue our long-time partnership with O&G Industries during the reinvention of the town of New Fairfield’s High and Middle School facilities. Banton served as the prime electrical contractor during the construction and installed virtually every new electrical system within the two buildings. The highlights of the Project were the Theater, Dining Commons and Gymnasium. Our forces installed an intricate theatrical lighting system, a new generator, and an upgraded fire alarm system; bringing the campuses to a new level of excellence. It is always a pleasure to work with our trusted business partners and we look forward to a continued bright future together!

We would like to recognize one of our most dedicated team members, Steve Ryan, who is retiring this month after an impressive 41 years with Banton Construction. Throughout Steve’s tenure, he has been an integral part of our journey, helping shape the company into what it is today. From his unparalleled expertise to his unwavering commitment, Steve has left a mark on both the business and everyone who has come through our doors. As Steve embarks on this well-deserved chapter of his life, we wish him nothing but the best. Here’s to new adventures and relaxation after an extraordinary career! Thank you, Steve, for all of your contributions. You will always be part of the Banton Team.
