"You are never going to be really in control of all of your circumstances, but failure is really not trying." Anthony Consigli recently joined Ryan Hawk on The Learning Leader Show to reflect on how the experiences he's had – on and off the jobsite – and the lessons he’s learned along the way have helped he and his brother, Matthew Consigli, build Consigli Construction Co., Inc. into the company it is today while staying true to their craftsmanship roots. Check out the full conversation to hear more about the values that have shaped Consigli, and why great leadership starts with a willingness to learn and improve: https://lnkd.in/e-Xts__e #GenuineBuilders

Colleges and universities are making bold moves toward decarbonization, and at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, that commitment is taking shape through the North Energy Exchange Center (NEEC)—a key piece of the UMass Carbon Zero Project, designed to transition campus energy systems to 100% renewable energy by 2032. The NEEC will integrate a 70-bore geothermal field, currently being installed by Consigli’s self-perform team in partnership with Rototec, along with a Thermal Energy Storage (TES) Tank, now under construction, that will deliver 2.2 million gallons of chilled water to maximize efficiency and reduce emissions. Consigli Construction Co., Inc. with its energy division, Arch Energy, has seen the success of low-carbon infrastructure solutions firsthand—like at University of New Hampshire, where a new thermal energy storage tank is helping the campus optimize energy use and reduce its carbon footprint. By investing in sustainable infrastructure, UMass Amherst is setting a new benchmark for higher education institutions committed to reducing emissions. #GenuineBuilders RFS Engineering RMF Engineering, Inc.

Along the Charles River, a special gantry crane system is helping the Consigli team perform work on the Museum of Science's Blue Wing Expansion, including structural roof demolition for the future Public Science Common. Through its repetitive motion, this innovative solution enhances safety and minimizes disruption for the Museum and its visitors, allowing the adjacent exhibits and spaces to stay open and operational while construction progresses. Hear from Senior Project Manager Elizabeth Clarkin as she walks you through the beam removal process, and how the project team has been able to navigate the unique challenges associated with work on an active, waterfront jobsite. #WomeninConstruction #WICWeek #GenuineBuilders William Rawn Associates, Architects, Inc.

The Gordon Center for Creative and Performing Arts, Colby College's largest academic project to date, serves as one of the most advanced performing arts facilities in New England, supporting the creativity and talent of both students and the local Waterville arts community. The project brings together Colby's music, cinema studies, theater and dance departments – each with their own complex and unique performance, M/E/P and acoustic needs – into one collaborative space. Delivered on an active, occupied campus, Consigli maintained constant communication and coordination with students and faculty throughout construction, earning Engineering News-Record New England's top project safety performance award.
