Introducing the Amae Institute — Amae Health’s new research and clinical education platform designed to standardize high-quality care and outcomes for individuals with severe mental illness (SMI). The Amae Institute is where we’ll build the future of SMI care: by training the next generation of providers, grounding our work in evidence, and scaling care models that deliver real recovery for people too often left behind. Our first initiative is launching in collaboration with Massachusetts General Hospital, one of the nation’s most respected academic institutions. We’re honored to be working with nationally recognized thought leaders in SMI care from MGH, including Catharyn Gildesgame, Dr. Cori Cather, Dr. Kim Mueser and Dr. Maurizio Fava. With decades of experience developing evidence-based approaches for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other complex conditions, we're collaborating to build a standardized clinical training framework that ensures our providers have the expertise and tools to deliver transformative, life-changing care. By bringing together Mass General’s academic excellence and Amae’s whole-person, team-based care model, we’re setting a new standard for how clinicians are trained—and building a scalable model to transform SMI care nationwide. 🔗 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gSSXFGZB #AmaeHealth #AmaeInstitute #MassGeneralHospital #SevereMentalIllness #MentalHealthCare #ClinicalTraining #WorkforceDevelopment #IntegratedCare

Last week, Amae Health had the great opportunity to share our latest research at the Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS) conference. Thanh Le, PhD and Andrew Adelhardt presented early findings from our pilot study with the Baszucki Group, exploring the feasibility of a ketogenic diet intervention for individuals living with severe mental illness (SMI). By combining biometric tracking and personalized nutrition with integrated outpatient care, we’re piloting a precision medicine approach aimed at supporting both psychiatric and metabolic health. Early results are promising—showing improvements in energy, physical health, and symptom reduction—while also surfacing key insights into long-term adherence and support needs. This work is just one example of Amae Health's commitment to moving the field forward through innovative, outcome-driven approaches to care. #SIRS2025 #AmaeHealth #SevereMentalIllness #MetabolicHealth #PrecisionMedicine #MentalHealthInnovation
