🦺 PROJECT PROFILE: New Residence Hall at Lincoln University Designed by AE Works, construction is beginning on Lincoln University's newest residence hall with an expected completion of early 2027. Lincoln University is advancing its commitment to enhancing the student living experience with the development of a new Apartment-Style Living (ASL) facility on campus. This modern residence hall aligns with the University’s strategic plan to expand high-quality housing options that support student success.  A four-story structure, the new ASL facility will accommodate between 315 and 365 students in four-bedroom, full-suite living units. This arrangement balances private sleeping quarters with shared kitchen, living, and bathroom spaces, fostering both personal comfort and community engagement. Members of our team recently took part in the AIA Pittsburgh | The Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Architecture Foundation’s Leadership Institute. The program aimed to develop leadership potential and create positive impacts on individuals, firms, and the community. Each participant collaborated with local non-profits in Wilkinsburg, Homewood, and Deutschtown to address specific neighborhood challenges. Designed to support ALCOSAN’s $2 billion Clean Water Plan, this laboratory, office, and parking garage project elevates environmental stewardship through sustainable design, cutting-edge technology, and operational flexibility. With features like a green roof, ultra-efficient HVAC systems, and advanced laboratory environments, the ECF is a 3 Rivers Proud building that pushes the boundaries of environmental innovation for a 24/7 operation. 🚧 Project Profile: University of Pittsburgh, Arena and Sports Performance Center Under construction now for completion in 2026, this $240 million project includes a 3,000-seat arena and cutting-edge athletic performance center that will serve the strength and conditioning, sports medicine, nutrition, and mental well-being needs for sixteen of Pitt's nineteen intercollegiate athletics programs. Designed in association with HNTB, the ASPC will provide a national-caliber competition and training venue, supporting the University’s athletic excellence and recruitment efforts within the Atlantic Coast Conference. Our design integrates multi-purpose athletic spaces with student-focused amenities to enhance training and foster community.
