Recent findings published in JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions indicate that IVUS-guided use of drug-coated balloons achieves lower late lumen loss and better minimal lumen diameter outcomes at 7 months compared to angiography-guided methods. These results highlight the benefits of using IVUS-guided drug-coated balloons to increase both the accuracy and safety of coronary interventions.
