  • #DYK that getting up and moving your body — even just once an hour — can help lower your risk of a blood clot? A little movement goes a long way! In honor of #BloodClotAwarenessMonth in March, the #ImperativeCare team stepped away from the office and gathered together for a rejuvenating #TaiChi class, which has been shown to help maintain muscle strength, improve balance, increase flexibility, and reduce stress. #BCAM2025 #VTE

In the panel Innovating Around a Comprehensive Patient-Care Model in Neuroscience, experts explored how companies are pushing beyond treatment to build holistic care solutions for patients facing neurological diseases. Moderated by Felipe Palacios, Vice President of BOTOX Therapeutic US Commercial Operations at AbbVie, the discussion centered on patient empowerment, personalized care models, and the integration of advanced technologies like AI, robotics, and wearables. Kate Rosenbluth, PhD, Founder, President & Chief Innovation Officer of Cala Health, shared her company’s breakthrough in wearable neuromodulation therapy for essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease—designed for use at home and calibrated to each patient’s unique brain signal pattern. She emphasized the importance of integrating user-centric design and real-world data to improve patient experience and long-term adherence, particularly in chronic disease management. Ariel Klein Sutton, EVP & GM of Imperative Care, walked through her company’s bold approach to stroke care, tackling the full continuum from clot retrieval to rehabilitation. With innovations like the Zoom Stroke Solution and the Kandu recovery program, she highlighted how imperative care is redefining stroke treatment through robotics, catheter technologies, and personalized post-discharge support. The panel underscored a shared commitment to reimagining patient journeys—where technology, education, and empathy intersect to shape the future of neuroscience care.

“Listen to your body – if something feels off, don’t ignore it and go see your doctor,” As a 35-year-old exercise physiologist, Jessica lives an active and healthy lifestyle. What began as back pain slowly became excruciating leg pain and swelling, impacting her ability to work, sleep and even walk. When she experienced a vertigo episode that caused her to faint, she trusted her instincts and went to the ER. What she initially thought was a pulled muscle turned out to be venous thrombosis, a serious condition caused by a blood clot forming in the veins of the legs or abdomen that can have a life-threatening impact if left untreated. Thanks to a quick diagnosis, Jessica underwent a thrombectomy procedure with the #SymphonySystem the next day. The clot was removed quickly from her leg before it could travel to her heart and lungs and cause further damage. She felt relief almost immediately and was able to go home the following day. She even returned to work a few days later. Jessica’s story is a powerful reminder that blood clots can happen to anyone. We’re honored to be part of her journey and grateful that our device could make a difference in her life when it mattered most. Rx only.
