Exciting news! Thanks to Diamond Aircraft, the #VoloCity is back in the air, and the Volocopter journey is soaring forward as our fantastic team resumes operations, propelling our mission for sustainable urban air mobility! Last week, VoloCity took to the skies again. On a bright, sunny day, the flight test team ran through standard VHF testing procedures with our test pilot, Olivier Renard, diligently advancing our test campaign for EASA type certification. Congratulations to the entire team!

Here's an interview we filmed at Farnborough International with Manuel Heredia Ortiz, the CEO of the Spanish eVTOL company CRISALION. Manuel was generous with his time and clearly knows their product and their market inside out. It was fascinating to hear how Crisalion is pushing the boundaries of sustainable urban air mobility with innovative patented technology that we've not seen on other EVTOL solutions. ✈️

MILESTONE ACCOMPLISHED: Phase 1 of our VX4 flight test programme is complete! During Phase 1 the VX4 conducted multiple piloted tethered flights and ground runs across 20 piloted sorties, completing a total of 70 individual test points with our Chief Test Pilot Justin ‘Jif’ Paines on board. These tests have enabled our team to collect and measure 35,000 flight and system parameters and verify all systems are operating safely and correctly under different conditions. Completing this first phase of testing is a significant feat, and shows the strength of our aircraft, team and partners. We’re now working with the Civil Aviation Authority as we prepare for Phase 2 of testing – thrustborne flight tests. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/eudJn2pn
