We built CRESS to make school uniform more affordable, sustainable and supportive of UK schools. Cress is an easy-to-use platform where parents can buy high-quality preloved school uniform — and every purchase helps raise money for their child’s school. We’re on a mission to partner with thousands of schools across the UK, making it easier for families to save money, reduce waste and fund schools at the same time. Our schools get access to ESG reports — and we support the curriculum with teaching tools that help children learn about sustainability, technology and business in a real-world, relatable way.

At CRESS education isn’t an afterthought — it’s one of our four pillars ‘Cress Shoots’ We’re not just helping schools raise funds and families save money. We’re embedding real-world learning into everything we do. Through the Cress preloved uniform shop, students get hands-on experience with: • How commerce and retail actually work • Why circular economies matter • What ESG looks like at their school • How small actions create wide impact And here’s the exciting part — students can choose to get directly involved in managing and marketing their Cress shop. It’s optional, but it’s powerful. From digital content and storytelling to financial tracking and customer service, it’s a live learning environment in action. Prefer us to handle it all? No problem. Cress can be as simple or as educational as you want it to be. We’re now working with local authorities, headteachers and educational partners to develop curriculum-aligned tools that sit alongside the Cress platform.
