  • Day 3 at Milan Design Week was all about drama, theatre and immersive storytelling. Don’t miss our highlights from Loro Piana and Hermès... Loro Piana: Loro Piana recreated a fully furnished home complete with new furniture, tableware and materials, as well as emblematic Dimoremilano pieces upholstered in Loro Piana Interiors fabrics. But this was no traditional showroom. It was theatrical, cinematic and completely immersive. “Dripping with theatre. Oozing Italian glamour. It felt like someone lived there. Cushions were thrown across the floor, a smashed vase, rustling trees outside. There was so much narrative coming through, I have never seen furniture presented in that way before. It gave it a story and it was animated, decadent and beautiful.” Gemma Ruse, Founder and Creative Director “There was a whole story happening and the soundscape evoked the feeling of a character in her home, you heard her voice. You heard her heels. You saw the spiral staircase. You imagined the character who lived in that space. It was really evocative.” Daniel Wigham, Sustainability and Strategy Lead “Ten out of ten, even the branded popcorn kiosk, part of a partnering activation, made perfect sense, tying together the theatre, the staging and the cinema-like energy that made this experience so incredible." Judy Dowle, Associate Creative Director Hermes: At La Pelota, Hermès unveiled a new setting designed by Charlotte Macaux Perelman, architect and artistic director of the Hermès interior collections, with Alexis Fabry. The space was defined by purity and restraint. Monumental white forms were suspended from the ceiling, each one sliced with apertures that revealed Hermès pieces in unexpected, playful ways. “What I loved was the element of surprise. You enter a space of pure white, then catch a glimpse of a slit, a shadow, a burst of colour. Products are draped, unrolled, perched. It all feels effortless, informal and full of contrast.” Gemma Ruse, Founder and Creative Director Stay tuned for Day 4...

  • Rexy has landed and she’s stealing the spotlight! We’re very excited to share Coach’s iconic mascot that has come to life in their iconic Regent Street flagship,  she takes over the windows and in-store experience, wowing anyone who passes her. We worked closely with the Coach team to translate their vision into reality,  every detail was designed to reflect Rexy’s bold spirit and playful character,  transforming a much-loved brand icon into a show stopping window spectacle. If you’re in the area, then definitely head to Regent Street to see her for yourself as she’s truly incredible! • Day 2 at Milan Design Week brought the bold, the beautiful, and the unexpected, don't miss our highlights from Prada Group, Lavazza Group and Google... Prada: The day started aboard the iconic Arlecchino train, where Prada’s 'In Transit' symposium unfolded in motion. The train’s aerodynamic form and panoramic lounges became the perfect stage for a series of talks curated by Formafantasma, exploring infrastructure, movement and mobility. “Aboard the beautifully restored 1950s Arlecchino train, designed by Gio Ponti and Giulio Minoletti, Prada’s 'In Transit' symposium set the tone for the day, with thought-provoking talks curated by Formafantasma. It was beautiful. I really enjoyed it.” Daniel Wigham, Sustainability + Strategy Lead Lavazza: Then came Lavazza, taking centre stage in the courtyard of Palazzo del Senato to celebrate the brand’s 130th anniversary. Set against the historic colonnade, Vasconcellos’ monumental 18-metre structure evoked the depth and warmth of coffee tones, immersing visitors in a collected, almost sacred atmosphere. “It felt like being in a rainforest, evoking the origin story of coffee. What I loved were the moments of surprise: you landed in an immersive rain room before walking into a brightly lit space with coffee bean chairs and metal textures. It had lots of thoughtful design codes throughout.” Gemma Ruse, Founder + Creative Director Google: Over at Google, their exhibition 'Making the Invisible Visible', created in collaboration with Lachlan Turczan, explored light as something that can be felt as well as seen. “An experiment in whether light can be touched and manipulated, it was totally delightful. It captivated us with its unpredictability and brought out our inner child.” Judy Dowle, Associate Creative Director Stay tuned for Day 3...

  • Milan Design Week is officially underway and our team is on the ground exploring the installations, exhibitions and ideas shaping the future of design. Our Sustainability and Strategy Lead, Daniel Wigham, shares his two standout moments from day one below. 10 Corso Como — LAYER: 101010 Internationally acclaimed design studio LAYER, led by Benjamin Hubert, is an immersive exhibition exploring what the next ten years of socially driven design might look like. The show featured six new prototypes created in collaboration with Christopher Raeburn, Kvadrat, Muuto and Andreu World. From emotionally responsive furniture to materials designed for circularity, the work is both technically ambitious and full of character. “My job is all about the future, so I felt incredibly inspired by this exhibition.” Alcova Spread across three beautiful buildings, Alcova returned with its signature mix of experimentation and atmosphere. With over 100 designers involved, it was a sprawling, sensory-led experience, but the garden installations stood out most of all. “The garden was a highlight, it had a quiet kind of magic that made everything slow down.” Stay tuned for tomorrows drop, featuring Prada Group and more...

  • A spring throwback to one of our most charming transformations for diptyque. For Café des Fleurs, we reimagined diptyque’s Sloane Street store as a Parisian-style flower café during Chelsea in Bloom, drawing inspiration from the iconic french film Amelie, passers-by were enveloped into a world of scent, storytelling and seasonal colour. We designed and produced every detail, before bringing it all to life in-store, from the flower-filled façade and sculptural awning to branded café furniture, a vintage-style photobooth, bespoke signage and floral crates.
