We are delighted to join Ordnance Survey in welcoming international delegates to the Cambridge Conference for national mapping agencies. Today, we hosted a UK Geospatial Showcase with speakers from Association for Geographic Information (AGI), ARCHANGEL IMAGING LTD., EOLAS Insight Ltd, Huq Industries, Nottingham City Council, Satellite Applications Catapult, The Alan Turing Institute, Viability and 1Spatial. From innovative data products to solutions tackling climate challenges, we highlighted expertise across government and industry. This event is also a chance to learn from other nations, engage in insightful discussions and identify future collaboration opportunities. We are proud to foster connections that will shape the future of geospatial globally.

Opportunities to Accelerate Housing Delivery We are pleased to announce the PropTech Innovation Challenge, designed to unlock the value of PropTech in accelerating the UK government’s target to build 1.5 million homes over this Parliament. Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s (MHCLG) Digital Planning Programme and Geovation, an Ordnance Survey (OS) initiative, are partnering on this initiative to test and validate PropTech as a catalyst for housing delivery. The challenge aims to foster collaboration between PropTech companies and public sector organisations, creating scalable solutions that deliver real time housing gains, testing on live sites and housing delivery environments. The challenge will focus on up to 5 priority problem statements and provide up to 12 PropTech projects with a share of £1.2 million in funding to develop high-impact digital solutions in planning and housing. Participants will have unprecedented opportunities to: 🔹 Leverage and build on the data and standards of the planning.data.gov.uk platform 🔹 Access Geovation's expertise in location data and the supply-side ecosystem for PropTech 🔹 Collaborate with industry stakeholders, including developers, investors, academia, local government, and policy teams For more information, including registering your interest, eligibility and terms, programme phases, and expected outcomes, visit https://lnkd.in/e_tERc5T.
