Congratulations to our team member, Samira, who has been recognised for her outstanding contribution on-site and for consistently demonstrating our values. While covering in the manager’s absence during paternity leave, Samira received excellent feedback from the client, demonstrating her strong leadership and dedication. Our team had another fantastic day at Refettorio Felix last week, serving home-cooked meals to those in need. Colleagues from across our business, including Lexington Catering chefs and Lexington Independents, came together to support this incredible initiative. We especially loved the spring-inspired menu, featuring seasonal ingredients like wild garlic, spring greens, and rhubarb - bringing fresh andvibrant flavours! Angel, our Customer Experience Associate, shared her experience: "Volunteering at Refettorio Felix at St Cuthbert’s Centre was an incredibly moving and memorable experience. It’s so much more than a meal service, it’s a welcoming space built on community and human connection. I had the privilege of meeting and chatting with attendees, and it was truly special. The team’s dedication is inspiring, and I couldn’t speak more highly of the day." A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen! #LexingtonReceptionServices #Volunteering #CharitableInitiative

Our team at Lloyd's had the fantastic opportunity to tour five-star luxury at Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. A special thank you to Asja Samperi Rooms Manager, for giving us an insightful tour of the stunning guest rooms and suites, and for sharing invaluable knowledge on the importance of a well-informed reception team and seamless collaboration between departments. Our visit was inspiring, allowing us to exchange best practices and bring back fresh ideas to enhance the experience for all who visit Lloyds! #luxuryhospitality #customerexperience #fivestarservice #teamwork

Ahead of International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the incredible women across our business, including those in our management and leadership teams. We sat down with our Head of Client Services, Jane Streat, to discuss her experience as a female leader in the industry. While women make up 55.5% of the hospitality workforce, leadership roles still show a gender imbalance. In this video, Jane shares her insights on female representation in reception services, her journey to leadership, and her advice for aspiring female leaders. Thank you, Jane, for sharing your experience. Here’s to progress, empowerment, and a more inclusive future for women in leadership in our industry - Happy International Women’s Day! #IWD2025 #IWD #InternationalWomensDay

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️ What better way to celebrate this day than by sharing this amazing picture from our client location, Devonshire Square (DSQ). Their annual ‘garden of hearts’ is dedicated to the British Heart Foundation and aims to raise awareness of the outstanding medical research work funded by the charity to fight all heart and circulatory diseases. To support the British Heart Foundation, DSQ is promoting the #nobrokenhearts fundraising campaign, an initiative that encourages donating high-quality pre-loved clothing or books to local BHF charity shops. Our team members enjoyed walking among the grounds this week and showing their support for the cause!

Our team at One Creechurch Place has been on a mission this month to collect books for the Children's Book Project 📚 Since kicking off their book drive on January 14, they’ve been gathering donations and will finish this Friday with a final count and donation! Our team chose this charity because too many children grow up with few or no books at home, missing out on exciting stories and shared reading moments; a simple way to spread joy! Yesterday marked #nationalhandwritingday, and to celebrate, our front-of-house team at Lloyd's hosted a special calligraphy session, expertly led by Paul, Liveried Head Waiter. Calligraphy holds a deep connection to Lloyd’s rich heritage, with our liveried waiters at the heart of it by inscribing the Loss Book, a practice that has been maintained for over 300 years. With over 100 entries in the Casualty Book to his name, Paul guided attendees through the art of calligraphy, even using registrar’s ink to demonstrate the technique. The workshop was a fantastic success, a unique opportunity to celebrate and showcase this skill!
