About us
EVENT VENUES | RESTAURANTS | CHAMPAGNE BARS | TICKETED EVENTS | GIFTS | ENGLISH SPARKLING & CHAMPAGNE DELIVERY A one-of-a-kind Champagne bar in historic St Pancras Station. Bars and restaurants set in two World Heritage sites. And one of London’s first skyscraper restaurants. Searcys has long been known as a market leader for our bold concepts and enduring creative spirit. And while we are always looking forward, we remain firmly rooted in our rich heritage. Founded in 1847, Searcys is the UK’s first restaurants and events catering company with a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation. Our story can be traced back to the vision of one man: Victorian entrepreneur and the Duke of Northumberland’s confectioner, John Searcy. He honed his skills catering at private parties for royalty and high society – and word soon spread of his talent. After 10 years of service to the Duke and Duchess, he set up his very own hospitality company in 1847. Before long, he became the most sought-after caterer in the area, renowned for his artistry and attention to detail. Our bars and restaurants: St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar, Helix restaurant and Iris bar at the Gherkin, Osteria and Bonfire at the Barbican, and The Pump Room in Bath, The Orangery at Blenheim Palace. Our venues: • {10–11} Carlton House Terrace • 30 Euston Square • 41 Portland Place • 116 Pall Mall • The Barbican • Church House, Westminster • Searcys at The Gherkin • The HAC • Horizon 22 Events • The Inner Temple • IET London: Savoy Place • No. 11 Cavendish Square • National Army Museum • One Moorgate Place • St Pancras by Searcys • Stationers’ Hall • Surveyors House • The Royal Institution • The View at the Royal College of Surgeons of England • Vintners' Hall Bars and Restaurants: • St Pancras Bar and Brasserie • Searcys at the Gherkin • Searcys Bar and Brasserie Westminster • Searcys Champagne Bar at Battersea Power Station • The Portrait by Richard Corrigan

This week we took a moment to recognise and thank some truly exceptional individuals – nominated by their teams and managers for their positive performance and the values they bring to work every day. After a thoughtful thank you from our Managing Director Paul Jackson, we shared a well-deserved breakfast – a chance to reflect, reconnect, and celebrate what makes our team so special.

An honour to host our events industry colleagues for The Business of Events Westminster Dinner this week! An exclusive setup and warm hospitality by 10-11 Carlton House Terrace. Our menu showcased Searcys seasonal signatures, perfectly paired with some of the best English wines, including Searcys English Sparkling and Bolney Wine Estate from Sussex. The starter featured London Smoke & Cure Searcys smoked salmon, whipped horseradish, and pickled cucumber. For the main, our chefs have chosen Suffolk free-range chicken, served with a creamy potato gratin, seasonal greens, and a rich chicken jus with a glass of Bolney Estate Pinot Noir. To conclude the meal, we served the Searcys Gin lemon meringue tart. What a fantastic evening at The Business of Events: Westminster Dinner, hosted at the stunning 10-11 Carlton House Terrace by Searcys. Some excellent conversations on the eve of the Global Policy Forum with representatives from VisitBritain, VisitScotland Business Events, ICC Wales, IBTM World, RX Global, Manchester Central, Marketing Manchester, AEV Association of Event Venues Ltd, Department for Culture, Media and Sport, beam, and many others. Their insights and passion reinforce the incredible impact of business events on the economy, tourism, and innovation. A special thank you to MPs James Asser, David Baines, Shaun Davies, Jack Rankin, Rachel Taylor, and Mike Wood of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Events whose engagement and support are invaluable in ensuring our industry thrives. Their recognition of the sector’s contribution – and the need for continued investment and policy backing – was truly encouraging. Once again, a huge thank you to our hosts 10-11 Carlton House Terrace and Searcys for their incredible hospitality. We’re looking forward to welcoming you all to The Business of Events: Global Policy Forum tomorrow at IET London: Savoy Place.
