Thanks to Leicestershire Cares Ltd for another fantastic session with the Youth Justice Team. It was a pleasure for Nelsons to be involved!
The Youth Justice Team took advantage of the half-term to connect the business community and participants across various projects within Leicestershire Cares in a Design a Mug and Employability Day. We had business members from Stepnell, Everards of Leicestershire, and Nelsons present. We also had a community navigator from Ingeus in attendance with lived experience of the criminal justice system. We’re proud to support Leicestershire Cares Ltd Easter Eggstravaganza again this year, helping to bring a little joy to children and families who might otherwise miss out. We had a great morning conducting mock interviews at Keyham Lodge School which specialises in supporting students with social , emotional and mental health issues. We interviewed 12 students from years 10 and 11 with the help of our wonderful business volunteers from Watches of Switzerland Group PLC Samworth Brothers East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire) Everards of Leicestershire and Surveyors to Education If you are interested in volunteering at a SEND school please contact bella@leicestershirecares.co.uk
