We were excited to welcome back The Real Junk Food Project Twickenham (TRJFP-T) for a pop-up café and jam sale at our Twickenham office, raising over £400 (and counting!) to support their incredible work tackling food waste and feeding those in need. 💙 TRJFP-T served up a delicious red pepper, tomato, and lentil soup made from surplus veggies, paired with fresh bread—and it sold out in no time! They also brought new batches of their popular jams and chutneys, including sweet chilli, raspberry, pickled chilli, plum, spicy tomato, and beetroot. 🍜 A big thank you to TRJFP-T for the delicious food and to our colleagues for their generosity. Earlier this week, Haymarket’s Chair, Rupert Heseltine, and CEO Kevin Costello visited The Real Junk Food Project – Twickenham (TRJFP-T), our fantastic local UK charity partner. They met with Clare Box, Founder and Director, along with some of the team, at the ETNA Centre to learn how TRJFP-T is rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to those in need.
