Working with Deliveroo, we are testing an approach to growing emerging UK brands. We will work together to identify the top-performing brands exclusive to their platform and scale them across our franchising network. By combining Deliveroo’s delivery network and expertise with our distribution and insight, the partnership will pinpoint high-potential trade zones - areas with strong consumer demand yet untapped opportunity - and the high-potential brands that are exclusive to Deliveroo. We'll work closely with those brands and Deliveroo to rapidly launch through our network of delivery kitchens in these areas, bringing exceptional food experiences to more consumers. The first launch is the iconic Chick 'N' Sours, known for their next level fried chicken and sour cocktails. Coinciding with the brands 10 year anniversary, this is a unique opportunity for the brand to serve new customers without investing in new dine-in locations. The brand will now be served from our delivery kitchens in key London trade zones and Deliveroo will act as the exclusive delivery partner from these sites. Our approach complements Deliveroo's own network of 20 delivery-only kitchen across the UK, Editions, which allows restaurant partners to lease kitchen space, while maintaining control over operations and supply chain. The first Chick'n'Sours sites launch this month in Finchley, Fulham and Kilburn.

We were delighted to attend The Sunday Times 100 Tech celebrations last week. It's a huge achievement to feature on this list, celebrating Britain's fastest-growing tech businesses, and we couldn't be prouder to support this fantastic initiative. Congratulations to all the companies listed and to those who won awards on the night, including Cera, who took home the HSBC Innovation Banking Inclusion Champion Award, presented by our UK CEO, Simon Bumfrey. We look forward to seeing what's next for all the companies included in the list. #ST100Tech #Innovation #Startups #Scaleups

That’s a wrap on the 2024/25 tax year! 🚀 We’re proud to share that Guinness Ventures has invested over £20 million into 12 exciting British companies in the 2024/25 tax year, reflecting a lot of hard work by our capital raising and investment teams! At Guinness Ventures we invest in established, revenue-generating businesses (Series A) with the ambition and potential to scale into market leaders. Our portfolios are well balanced between consumer, tech, and health sectors. In the last year, our investment team reviewed more than 1,200 opportunities, seeking out what we believe to be the most compelling growth stories. The result? A diverse portfolio with an average company revenue of £5.1m, and a strong foundation for future growth. 🏆 Absolutely thrilled that @Cera won the @Sunday Times 100 Tech Inclusion Champion Award! Amazing to get this recognition for our efforts to make care a career of choice for people from all backgrounds. 💪 This is a testament to the hard work of the amazing Cera teams who make it possible for us to empower thousands of people – whether they’re returning to work after unemployment, living with disabilities, or looking for structured, supportive Career Pathways. 🫶 Our diverse workforce is our greatest strength. Different perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds spark fresh ideas, drive innovation, improve outcomes for our service users, and build a culture where everyone feels valued. I'm particularly inspired by our colleagues who've overcome barriers to join and grow with us: 💙 25% of recent recruits were previously unemployed. 💙 Over 5% of colleagues live with disabilities, double the industry average. 💙 Our negative gender pay gap in favour of women reflects our values of financial autonomy, career progression and opportunity for women. Looking forward to changing more lives and reshaping the future of care! 🌟 #SundayTimes100 #Inclusion #CareersAtCera #Diversity #PeopleFirst @SundayTimes

Congratulations to Daye!
🚨 BIG NEWS: We’ve officially joined the NHS Innovation Accelerator! 🚀 This 3-year programme is all about scaling high-impact health innovations, and we’re beyond proud that Daye’s HPV Diagnostic Tampon is now part of that journey! Daye's invitation to the NHS Innovation Accelerator marks a significant step forward in the fight against cervical cancer. With support from the NHS, we’ll be expanding access to tampon-based HPV screening across the UK – helping move closer to the goal of eliminating cervical cancer by 2040. ⚠️ Right now, around 3300 people in the UK are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year. It’s one of the most preventable cancers when caught early with HPV testing. Yet, up to 60% of women don’t attend regular screenings. Why? Because the current tools (hi, speculum 👋) have barely changed since the Roman Empire. They’re uncomfortable, intimidating and frankly, due for a major upgrade. That’s where our Diagnostic Tampon comes in: 💛 Non-invasive and comfortable 💛 Can be used at home or in the clinic 💛 Provides more reliable sample collection Joining the NHS Innovation Accelerator is a huge step toward improving the standard of care, making cervical screenings easier, more accessible and actually designed with people in mind. We’re so proud of our team and excited to bring better gynae care to more people across to the UK! Yesterday, Richard Simcock and I joined a panel to discuss the future of cancer care and highlight the exciting partnership between Macmillan Cancer Support and Perci Health. Key takeaways from the discussion: *Optimism in the face of challenges: Despite the capacity challenges of an increasing number of people living with and beyond cancer, and the ever-present financial constraints, there is much room for optimism within cancer care. *Innovations are changing the game: From groundbreaking therapies to new technologies that enable increasingly personalised care, the cancer care landscape is transforming. Tools like Perci Health are helping enhance the capacity of our specialist cancer workforce and improve outcomes for people with cancer, while advancements in early detection are making a real difference. *Macmillan’s commitment to innovation: It's important for Macmillan to invest in innovative cancer technologies. It demonstrates their commitment to "delivering betterness" for every person impacted by cancer, and is the next evolution of their 125 year history as a charity. *Compassion at the heart of care: There is no lack of compassion in the healthcare workforce - everyone wants to do the best for their patients and to optimise outcomes. This compassion, coupled with new technology, can unlock a new paradigm of cancer care. There is clearly much work to be done but also many reasons to be hopeful for the future of cancer care. 🚀
