    💙 Supporting working parents & unpaid carers – at home and at work 💙 This Mother’s Day, we’re sharing a conversation between Chief Care Officer Charlotte Donald and her daughter Chiara, who is following in her footsteps into care and nursing. They discuss the challenges of being a young mum, balancing work with family life, and what it means to care – both professionally and personally. Caring doesn’t stop at the end of a shift.     💼 A £1 Billion Commitment to Get Britain Working Again 💼 In yesterday’s Spring Statement, the UK Government announced a £1 billion investment to help millions rejoin the workforce — a vital step, with 9.2 million adults currently economically inactive and 1 in 8 young people not in employment, education or training. At Cera, we know the barriers people face when returning to work.  Through our Back to Work initiatives, we’ve supported thousands in restarting their careers — often after years away from employment. With the right training, support and encouragement, we’ve seen people rebuild their confidence, regain financial independence, and discover meaningful careers in care. 🚀💪 One of those individuals is inspirational double amputee Mark Allen, who is thriving as a carer at Cera after 20 years unemployed.
