Together, we give more.
The Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) is a group of charitable organisations in the UK and North America – CAF in the UK, CAF America, CAF Canada, and the American Donor Fund (CADF). Over the last 100 years, we have led the way in developing innovative approaches to giving. Annually, we distribute over £1 billion to charities around the globe.
In the UK, CAF also owns CAF Bank Limited and CAF Financial Solutions Limited (CFSL). They help charities to manage their finances and funds so they can continue to support causes and communities that matter to them.
MISSION: Our aim is to increase charitable giving and strengthen the solutions we offer to assist social purpose organisations, donors, government and others in accelerating progress towards a fair and sustainable future for all.

A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake has devastated huge areas of Myanmar. Hundreds of people are still missing. Many more have no access to the safe shelter, clean water, food and medical care they need to survive.
The Disasters Emergency Committee has launched a Myanmar Earthquake Appeal to support the thousands of people in Myanmar.

The UK public donated an incredible £15.4 billion last year. But this generosity came from an increasingly smaller group of people.
The UK Giving Report 2025 shows a clear need to renew and strengthen our culture of giving. Here’s what we’re seeing:
💷 Fewer people are donating
👧👦 Young people are disengaging
📉 Volunteering is in decline
📣 Our Chief Executive, Neil Heslop, calls for urgent action:
“To renew a culture of giving across the UK, the Government should deliver a national strategy for philanthropy and charitable giving, to support charities as they deliver their life-changing work.”

We’re pleased to launch UK Giving 2025, our comprehensive look at how, why, and where people give - and what’s changing.
Here’s what we found:
📉 Only 50% of people donated to charity in the past year. This is the lowest level we’ve ever recorded
👏 Total donations reached £15.4 billion, but from a smaller, shrinking donor base
🧑🎓 Just a third of 16–24-year-olds gave or sponsored — the lowest of any age group
🤝 An estimated 5.6 million adults volunteered, down from 7.1 million the year before
❤️ Health charities received the most support, with an estimated £2.22 billion in donations
These findings show both a warning and an opportunity. The act of giving connects people and communities but we must act now to strengthen that culture of giving for the future of the charity sector.

With rising demand for services and limited resources, it's important to ensure your charity’s cash is earning the best possible return.
While banks and building societies are competing to make their offers as attractive as possible, you need to find the right solution for your charity.
This means factoring in security, ease of access, and the time required to open a new account.
A cash deposit platform could help to simplify this process. It enables your charity to:
✅ Access a variety of deposit accounts from a single hub
✅ Compare and select account options that match your needs
✅ Manage funds efficiently without the need for multiple applications or instructions

Caring for over 5,000 animals and birds every year, Cuan Wildlife Rescue plays a vital role in protecting Shropshire’s wildlife. Revenue raised from their charity shops is crucial to meeting the growing demand for their veterinary facilities and rescue services.
When the opportunity arose to purchase the premises of their Much Wenlock shop, Cuan turned to CAF Bank for financial support.
A loan from CAF Bank enabled them to acquire both the shop and an adjoining residential property, providing the potential for an additional income stream to support their life-saving work.
We’re proud to support Cuan Wildlife Rescue in building a stronger, more sustainable future. Read their story: https://lnkd.in/eyvqDBxh#CharityFinance#CharityLoans#CharitySupport
