Welcome back for #ESGDATADay – Second edition ! We were pleased to meet you again, one year after to discuss our ESG topics, which remain at the heart of our priorities. A day of keynotes, panels, and ESG gaming sessions as part of the #NESTDays, during a dedicated day led by Enam Ehe, Head of ESG Data & Systems ! 🌎🌱 More than ever, in a world undergoing deep transformation, it is both as BNP Paribas employees and as individuals that we continue to commit ourselves with conviction to #ESG issues. Sustainable development is no longer an option — it’s a necessity, a direction, and a shared responsibility. At the same time, ESG data has never been disclosed at such scale around the world — a strong sign of growing awareness, but also of the need for reliability and transparency. Data is what allows us turning intentions into actions. Whether it is about tracking emissions, evaluating social impact, managing risks or assessing progress toward ESG goals, data is the foundation. For a financial institution as BNP Paribas, these aren’t just KPIs, but indicators of how seriously we take our role in shaping a fairer society. Everything relies on data, and regulators, investors, rating agencies, and clients all expect that this data be robust, transparent, and traceable. A huge thanks to all the experts keen to deliver good practices, a vision and concrete actions on several topics, and all the teams involved for making this day possible: 🔊 With a use case approach, it was insightful to have an updated status around #EPC, #GHG and #EUTaxonomy thanks to the expertise of Joana Soares, Matthieu Combet, Leire Sorasu Alcubilla, Jérôme Hirigoyen, Nicola BRONZETTI, Marie Delahousse, Valérie Truong Tan, Gina Anderson and Caroline Goldwaser. 💧 Then, exploring the future of ESG Data with emerging data needs for physical risk, biodiversity, water... and more! With Valentin Kammes, Alexandre Vincent, Marie d'Argentré, @Michal, Alice Froidevaux (QuantCube), Guillaume Mouscadet (Kayrros), Fabien BENOIT. 🤖 Two letters, huge impact: AI! Discovering with an entertaining and interactive journey through the revolution of #AI in ESG, with Laurent Laplénie and Jérémy NEYROU. 🗄️ What about data management? A journey with several steps to manage our data and make them valuable on our ESG processes. A key topic addressed by Anne Reghem, Mimi Touré, Agathe Brun, Carolina Fernandes and Roberto de la Cruz Zabala. 🎲 Ending this insightful day with gaming sessions developed internally! A ludic way to discover the history of ESG and the Group vision and commitment, entertained by Carolina Fernandes, Roberto De La Cruz Zabala, María Palacio Duque, Jean-Baptiste Cadot, Nadège LOUVIOT, Margaux LAFONTAINE, @Yacine Moussa. See you next year ! Anne Pointet, Philippe Maillard, Hugues Even, Grégoire Lusson

🌍 Building the City of Tomorrow Means Rethinking Today’s Real Estate By 2050, 80% of the world's population will live in cities. In the face of this challenge, we must envision more sustainable, inclusive, and intelligent spaces. Catherine Papillon, Head of Sustainability & CSR at BNP Paribas Real Estate, shares the three major challenges guiding our actions: ✅ Reducing Environmental Impact • Renovating existing buildings rather than constructing new ones • Using bio-based materials and promoting reuse • Integrating biodiversity and designing reversible buildings ✅ Creating Vibrant and Inclusive Spaces • Encouraging places where people can live, work, learn, and enjoy leisure activities • Promoting diversity, shared spaces, and urban well-being ✅ Leveraging Digital Technology for Buildings and Users • Optimizing energy management and enhancing occupant comfort • Making buildings smarter and more connected 🚀 "Shifting from a client-supplier relationship to a collective approach for the common good" this is how we are driving the transformation of the industry. 2050NOW La Maison #Sustainable #RealEstate #innovation #Inclusion

🌏 An inspiring week in APAC: commitment, action, and a shared ambition for sustainable finance! 🌱 Last week, I had the opportunity to meet our teams, clients, and partners in Hong Kong and Singapore who are advancing sustainable finance in the region. 💬 Key moments : ✨ Meeting my fellow colleagues. Their energy and commitment to driving sustainable finance in their markets were truly inspiring. ✨ Joining the Southeast Asia Townhall, where we discussed our strategy and reaffirmed our commitments to ESG and financial inclusion. ✨ Kicking off the “Green Horizons” initiative, which will empower our teams to deepen their sustainability expertise and impact. ✨ Engaging with clients and partners who share our ambition to build a more responsible and innovative financial system and economy. 🌿 APAC at the heart of our sustainability strategy : 🔹Accelerating the energy transition with significant investments in renewable energy projects accross the region. BNP Paribas is financing 3.2 gigawatts of solar, wind, and energy storage projects in APAC, driving forward our goal of reaching 90% low-carbon energy in our energy production credit exposure by 2030. 🔹 Supporting biodiversity and the blue economy, through ocean conservation and clean water access projects. 🔹 Strengthening financial inclusion, with 700,000+ micro-borrowers already benefiting from our support in Asia. 🙏 A huge thank you to all our APAC teams for your warm welcome and unwavering engagement. Your passion makes a difference every day! https://lnkd.in/e5UYYaiA #SustainableFinance #APAC #EnergyTransition #Commitment
