Welcome back for #ESGDATADay – Second edition ! We were pleased to meet you again, one year after to discuss our ESG topics, which remain at the heart of our priorities. A day of keynotes, panels, and ESG gaming sessions as part of the #NESTDays, during a dedicated day led by Enam Ehe, Head of ESG Data & Systems ! 🌎🌱 More than ever, in a world undergoing deep transformation, it is both as BNP Paribas employees and as individuals that we continue to commit ourselves with conviction to #ESG issues. Sustainable development is no longer an option — it’s a necessity, a direction, and a shared responsibility. At the same time, ESG data has never been disclosed at such scale around the world — a strong sign of growing awareness, but also of the need for reliability and transparency. Data is what allows us turning intentions into actions. Whether it is about tracking emissions, evaluating social impact, managing risks or assessing progress toward ESG goals, data is the foundation. For a financial institution as BNP Paribas, these aren’t just KPIs, but indicators of how seriously we take our role in shaping a fairer society. Everything relies on data, and regulators, investors, rating agencies, and clients all expect that this data be robust, transparent, and traceable. A huge thanks to all the experts keen to deliver good practices, a vision and concrete actions on several topics, and all the teams involved for making this day possible: 🔊 With a use case approach, it was insightful to have an updated status around #EPC, #GHG and #EUTaxonomy thanks to the expertise of Joana Soares, Matthieu Combet, Leire Sorasu Alcubilla, Jérôme Hirigoyen, Nicola BRONZETTI, Marie Delahousse, Valérie Truong Tan, Gina Anderson and Caroline Goldwaser. 💧 Then, exploring the future of ESG Data with emerging data needs for physical risk, biodiversity, water... and more! With Valentin Kammes, Alexandre Vincent, Marie d'Argentré, @Michal, Alice Froidevaux (QuantCube), Guillaume Mouscadet (Kayrros), Fabien BENOIT. 🤖 Two letters, huge impact: AI! Discovering with an entertaining and interactive journey through the revolution of #AI in ESG, with Laurent Laplénie and Jérémy NEYROU. 🗄️ What about data management? A journey with several steps to manage our data and make them valuable on our ESG processes. A key topic addressed by Anne Reghem, Mimi Touré, Agathe Brun, Carolina Fernandes and Roberto de la Cruz Zabala. 🎲 Ending this insightful day with gaming sessions developed internally!
