Temasek's Workforce 4.0 team recently hosted a Workplace Fairness Act (WFA) Brownbag session, bringing together tripartite representatives from Ministry of Manpower, National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), and TAFEP Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices. The event provided a useful platform for HR practitioners, union representatives, and industry leaders to discuss the implications of the new WFA Bill.   Sherlyn Lim, Head of Organisation & People, opened the session, followed by MOM's overview of the WFA. O&P Director Hon Weng Yip moderated a panel discussion featuring MOM Senior Minister of State Zaqy Mohamad, TAFEP General Manager Faith Li, and USE Executive Secretary and NTUC Director of Economic Policy Shirley Loo.   The session aligned with the Workforce 4.0 team's aim to support and create value for Temasek's ecosystem by shaping a future-ready workforce to achieve long-term sustainable business growth. Participants discussed how the WFA may impact work environments and practices, gaining practical insights to help their organisations navigate the new legislative landscape.   We appreciate the contributions of our partners, speakers, and attendees in fostering this important dialogue on workplace fairness and the future of work! #WorkplaceFairness #TripartitePartnership #FutureOfWork

We have been alerted to a scam involving the impersonation of our Chief Executive Officer, Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara, on Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook. The impersonator is using the email address "temasek.com.sg@outlook.com", with Dilhan’s name and his email address as their display name. They are reaching out to individuals outside of Temasek on the pretext of collaboration. This is a scam. Temasek and Dilhan are not associated with the impersonator in any way. Temasek email addresses do not end with “@outlook.com”. If you have received similar messages and/or emails, we recommend that you block/report the user on the respective Microsoft applications. At Temasek, we believe that meritocracy co-exists with inclusivity. Making Temasek a great place to work, starts by building an inclusive culture that respects and embraces differences across a wide range of dimensions. This ensures that our best talent can thrive and contribute meaningfully. During our recent #InternationalWomen’sDay event, our CFO, Chin-Yee Png, reflected on our ongoing journey towards gender equity, as we work towards levelling the playing field for both men and women. It is a continuous journey, but we celebrate our wins. We had the privilege to hear from mother-daughter duo, Alvina Chun and Liz Kang, co-CEOs of Mamame Whole Foods, who shared their entrepreneurial journey, their purpose-driven business ethos, and their vision for creating a more equitable future. Their stories served as a reminder that creating an environment—one where women can thrive both personally and professionally—requires continuous effort and collective action. By challenging barriers and creating opportunities, we can build a better and more inclusive future for all. #IWD #EquityInAction #WomenInLeadership
