Following the 7.7-magnitude earthquake that hit Myanmar on 28 March, our Security Manager for Asia Region, Sarawut Thamjun, travelled to some of the most seriously impacted areas to assess the security environment. Support missions are underway, but the tremblor is estimated to have claimed at least 3,800 lives, with over 4,700 people injured.
