About us
FathomX is a MedTech AI spin-off from the National University of Singapore and National University Health System that aims to deploy clinician friendly solutions to enhancing the existing workflow. Our first project targets public health and aims to enhance breast cancer screening with AI by significantly reducing false positive rates by 80% and enhancing the clinical workflow by cutting down the clinician number by 50%. These are findings that have been published in the prestigious JAMA Open Network and AAAI Workshop. The company works closely with global solutions provider HP Enterprise to develop a range of technologies in the field of medical imaging and has integrated our AI engines into a technical infrastructure that is scalable, customisable and already tested out in various hospitals and clinics.

⭐ FathomX is pleased to announce that our AI-driven breast cancer diagnostic tool, FxMammo, will be offered in Japan through LPIXEL Inc.’s EIRL AI Partner Program. This partnership provides a commercially ready pathway for AI-solution FxMammo to enter the Japanese market via LPIXEL’s well-established platform, currently deployed in over 900 medical institutions and connected to major PACS systems nationwide. FxMammo will complement LPIXEL’s existing diagnostic suite by addressing a critical unmet need: early and accurate detection of breast cancer in women with dense breasts, which is particularly common across Asian populations. With regulatory approvals already secured in seven jurisdictions across Asia, this agreement marks a significant step forward in FathomX go-to-market strategy—demonstrating how regional collaboration can lower barriers to adoption for validated AI solutions in clinical practice. #AI #medicalimaging #breastcancer #medtech #femalehealth Masakazu KOYANAGI Stephen Lim Mengling 'Mornin' Feng Mikael Hartman https://lnkd.in/dzYKsdg2

Stephen Lim, Co-Founder of FathomX, shares his experience on the MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific U.S. Market Access Program: “We could tap on and map what we already know in other countries–whether it is applicable in the U.S. or not, how they are and are not practical, and how things are done differently in the U.S.. Beyond that, they provided link-ups and direction to the right individuals and contacts to help us scale the next pathways.” With tailored guidance and unparalleled connections, this program equips MedTech startups with the knowledge and support to navigate and thrive in the U.S. market. 🚀 Apply now for the 2025 U.S. Market Access Program: https://lnkd.in/ghAJAvu7 #MedTech #USMAP #MTIAPAC #Innovation #HealthTech #DigitalHealth #Diagnostics #Singaporestartups #Startups

🧡 Thank you National University of Singapore and Saw Swee Hock School Of Public Health for mentioning our work inventing the future and fighting breast cancer with AI: "According to the National Population Health Survey 2022, fewer than 40% of Singaporean women aged 50 to 69 have had a mammogram in the past two years, even though regular screenings are vital. One reason for this low uptake is the limitations of existing screening technology. In CNA’s Deep Tech: Inventing The Future series, the spotlight is shone on FxMammo, an AI-powered tool designed to analyse mammogram images by providing radiologists with a heat map and cancer probability score. Hear from Assoc Prof Mikael Hartman and Assist Prof Mengling 'Mornin' Feng as they share their experience in the development of FxMammo and discuss its potential to transform breast cancer detection."
