This quote comes from Stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius: “You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” This idea really resonates with Yordan. For him, it’s a reminder that while we can’t always control what happens, we can choose how we respond to it - and that choice is where real strength lies. It’s also the reason behind his positivity. In the last two days our Senior Sales Consultant, Stefka Mihaylova, represented Iris.ai at EIC Multi-Corporate Day organized by the EIC - European Innovation Council in collaboration with OMV Petrom, S.N.G.N. Romgaz S.A., CONFIND CAMPINA, and Bonatti. Day 1 offered a warm welcome from OMV Petrom, including a tour of their office space and the opportunity to connect informally with the EIC team, other innovative startups, and members of the OMV Petrom team. The atmosphere was energizing, with meaningful conversations and promising new connections forming. The second day was the real deal - live startup pitches, active Q&A sessions, and deep-dive 1:1s with corporate stakeholders exploring their use cases. Iris.ai stood out as the company that made the biggest impression, earning the most questions during the pitch session! We also had a great discussion with OMV that touched on concrete challenges around handling complex document ecosystems across departments. Yesterday, just hours after the official launch of the AI Continent Action Plan, CTO & Co-founder of Iris.ai, Victor Botev joined the European Commission’s high-level roundtable to help shape the future of AI innovation in Europe. Hosted by EVP Henna Virkkunen and Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva, the roundtable brought together leaders from 13 of Europe’s top AI startups, including Iris.ai, as well as the newly launched AI Factories, Member State representatives, and the European Commission. The discussion focused on turning Europe’s AI ambition into reality - by investing in sovereign infrastructure, boosting adoption of “Tech AI made in Europe”, and building a regulatory framework that fosters trustworthy yet deployable AI.
