This past Tuesday saw great discussion and collaboration between research and industry at One Ocean Week’s panel on Digital Twins in ocean knowledge and sustainability. SEADOTs EU Project's scientific coordinator and CLIMAREST researcher Lara Veylit provided deeper insights into her work creating digital twins for the various #CLIMAREST demonstration and replication sites and their value to upscaling these sites and in the creation of new restoration projects. How the #NRR applies to the marine space is super important to this community, and #SERE are proud to have had such an important role in driving forward the NRR and now also to stand in a pivotal position in putting into action in #NRPs to meet the European Commission’s 30x30 and 50x50 targets. We also really care about the communities working hard across Europe (and the world!) to help #RestoreOurOceansAndWaters - not only #ESRA, but also the #NativeOysterRestorationAlliance, #REVER and our friends with aims to restore the #deepsea. 📄 CLIMAREST is proud to share our team’s latest work on “Assessing the success of marine ecosystem restoration using meta-analysis”. This article was published in the 16th edition of the esteemed Nature Communications journal.
