Rootcode won the Estonian government tender to build an AI model training and deployment platform for key government services. The Police and Border Guard Board, the Ministry of Education and Research, the Information System Authority, and many more institutions that have joined Bürokratt network will use our solution. Estonia is renowned for pioneering e-governance and digital innovation in government services, making this partnership especially exciting for us as we build critical AI systems that move the world.

Last week, we hosted our first-ever "Product + Design Meetup" at our Rootcode HQ! Kirthika, one of our Project Managers, and Amanda, our Senior UX Designer walked us through “The Product Perspective: Building with Strategy & Design,” showing how product and design decisions fit together on real projects. They were later joined by our CEO, Alagan, for an open Q&A that sparked a lot of interesting conversation around the topic. We were excited to welcome Denisa Pevná, International Cooperation Lead at OICT, at our Rootcode Headquarters in Colombo. Together, we kicked off an exciting new project with the City of Prague, Czech Republic, to develop an AI-powered citizen engagement platform. This platform is designed to improve the reporting of citywide issues and improve the efficiency of the authorities' response efforts. Part of the EU-funded CommuniCity initiative, this project focuses on driving citizen-centric innovation. By collaborating closely with the City of Prague's OICT team, we aim to build a solution that benefits the community of Prague.

At Rootcode Foundation, our goal is to give underprivileged kids knowledge and exposure to technology so that they can change their lives as we all did. We commit an entire year to the school we adopt through Rootcode Foundation, visiting the school every month on weekends to teach the students.
