🌟 In the CGIAR AgriLAC Resiliente Initiative, we found science, innovation and, above all, collaboration to be the solutions for improved food security, greater climate resilience and peaceful communities. 📊 Together with the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, farmers, researchers, and strategic partners, we turned ideas into action, and action into impact: 1.4+ million people reached through the use of CGIAR innovations 12,800+ individuals trained to drive change in their communities 26 co-developed innovations improving productivity, nutrition, and climate resilience 66,700 innovation sites bridging science and the field 75,992 hectares transformed into living laboratories for sustainable agriculture 👉 Because when science meets action, when knowledge fuels innovation, and when collaboration unites communities—anything is possible. #AgriLACResilienteInitiative

🌱The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and the National Agricultural Research Organisation - NARO Uganda have launched NARITA 17, a new Matooke banana variety in Uganda, addressing declining yields caused by soil degradation, drought, and disease.
