Daria Vazhenina Nehal Mamgain Srushti Rashmi Shirish and other leaders and executives from across Woven by Toyota came together this International Women’s Day for a panel discussion on career growth, sharing invaluable insights and experiences. One of the main topics of discussion? The importance of creating real opportunities for women to develop expertise, take risks, and lead. Our panelists Miho Kusaka Jack Yan Sarah Koehler マッキンリー キャサリン shed light on how too often, women are relied on for work that keeps teams running, but doesn’t necessarily pave the way for recognition or growth. They also shared how mentorship plays a key role in breaking this cycle. Strong leaders don’t just distribute work. Through structured conversations and career planning, they guide individuals toward meaningful challenges that build skills and open doors, creating a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to take steps forward. Over 420,000 people contributed approximately 3.4 million hours of dedication and expertise to bring Woven City's Phase 1 to life. 🏗️ Through summer heat and winter cold, tight deadlines, and unexpected challenges, skilled builders, engineers, designers, and more worked tirelessly to keep the project moving safely toward completion last October. This past weekend, Toyota’s Chairman Akio Toyoda, our team, and the incredible individuals who made it possible came together to celebrate this milestone and express our appreciation for everyone involved. 🚀News: Hajime Kumabe, CEO of Woven by Toyota, Joins Interstellar Technologies as a Board Member We are pleased to announce that as of January 28, 2025, Mr. Hajime Kumabe, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Representative Director of Woven by Toyota Inc., headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo, has been appointed as an external (non-executive) director. On January 7, 2025, Interstellar Technologies and Woven by Toyota, a member of the Toyota Group leading the transformation of mobility, announced an agreement on strategic capital and business alliance. As part of the collaboration, Woven by Toyota invested approximately 7 billion yen as a lead investor by the first close of Series F. Through Mr. Kumabe’s appointment to the board, both companies aim to strengthen corporate governance and accelerate efforts to shift rocket manufacturing from one-off production to low-cost, high-quality, and mass-producible manufacturing.
