Last week I had the wonderful opportunity to host an event in Tokyo together with the brilliant Katie, founder of She Loves: Womens Network! The room buzzed with energy as professionals of all genders gathered to discover strategies for accelerating tech careers, mastering salary negotiations, and building productive relationships with managers. We began with an insightful panel featuring myself alongside two remarkable leaders: Yan F., Co-founder of Code Chrysalis and Ewa Szyszka. Together, we shared our own experiences about career development, startup challenges, and embracing life's diverse opportunities. Following the panel, we transitioned into an interactive session where participants delved deeper into specific topics and received answers to their most pressing questions. The collaborative atmosphere fostered genuine connections and meaningful exchanges. This event exemplified what I'm passionate about—creating inclusive spaces where people from diverse backgrounds can connect, share knowledge, and support each other's growth. Moments like these reinforce my commitment with TechFace.ch - Build Your Best Career In Tech to fostering environments where professional development happens through authentic exchange and where diversity and equality naturally flourish. One comment particularly resonated with me: a male participant mentioned that "this event wasn't about women," which he deeply appreciated.
