-𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻- Since its very beginning four years ago, we are proudly participating in CirculART, a project dedicated to exploring circularity, transparency, traceability, and responsibility in a “new” textile supply chain. This year, three artists and three international fashion designers will collaborate with the Material Innovation Lab (MIL) of the Kering group and 16 other partnering companies -including the Piacenza Group- to create innovative works of art and fashion. Aligned with Michelangelo Pistoletto’s “Third Paradise” vision, CirculART 4.0 brings together artists, designers, researchers, climatologists, and businesses to co-create a new paradigm where art, fashion, and sustainability unite. Together, we’re addressing critical issues like climate change and advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Together with CirculART, we are committed to contributing to a more responsible and circular textile industry—one that’s collaborative, innovative, and focused on the future. • -𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣- The Piacenza Group has always believed that meaningful partnerships are essential to fostering a more responsible and sustainable future. Our commitment extends beyond the excellence of our products; it is rooted in a vision that embraces emerging designers, local sponsorships, the safeguarding of cultural heritage, and collaborations in education. A fundamental aspect of our approach remains the responsibility of our supply chain. Our selection and evaluation of suppliers are guided not only by economic criteria but also by a rigorous assessment of social and environmental standards. This ensures that our operations reflect our enduring commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. Throughout the past year, we had the privilege of reintroducing significant initiatives that celebrate our heritage and community. Events such as 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘬𝘺, organised in collaboration with local institutions, and 𝘈𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘢, during which we opened our doors to the public, were valuable opportunities to share our craftsmanship and values. In addition to these long-standing commitments, we expanded our efforts by supporting humanitarian initiatives, including the collection of essential goods for those affected by the conflict in Ukraine and fundraising efforts for communities impacted by natural disasters in Emilia Romagna, Turkey, and Syria. In 2023, we strengthened our collaboration with academic institutions at various levels, reaffirming our dedication to cultivating knowledge and expertise in the textile industry. From sensory workshops for young children at the Vandorno Kindergarten to guided visits for high school students at our Pollone facility, we sought to create meaningful learning experiences. Our engagement extended to higher education, with a lecture on sustainability for MBA students at Bocconi University and our participation in Fashion Night, an event organized by the 𝘉𝘪𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘛𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘦. Furthermore, we are proud to be among the companies that have supported the establishment of the Textile High School in Valdilana, which will welcome its first students in the 2024/2025 academic year. #Piacenza1733 #Sustainability #Education #CommunityEngagement #TextileInnovation #ResponsibleBusiness #Partnerships

  • - 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 - As part of our commitment to reducing atmospheric CO2 emissions, 2023 marked the start of an important transition for our company vehicle fleet. Today, we are proud to share that 9.5% of our fleet consists of fully electric vehicles (EVs), alongside 33% hybrid cars. One highlight is our electric Fiat 500, which has already clocked 10,520 km. A typical vehicle of this type emits approximately 136 g/km of CO2.
