The INTERCEPT Horizon Europe project is an innovative initiative aimed at enhancing the capabilities of European law enforcement agencies by providing them with advanced solutions to remotely and safely stop vehicles that pose high-security threats. This project is the result of extensive collaboration with security forces and experts, addressing critical challenges such as the early detection of potential threats and improving coordination in response efforts. Key Highlights: 🔒 INTERCEPT will bridge technology gaps identified by security stakeholders to reduce vulnerabilities and enhance operational efficiency. 🌍 The project unites 8 Ministry of Interior and Police Authorities from Belgium, Finland, France, Poland, Netherlands, Slovak Republic, Spain, and the United Kingdom. 📊 DIGINNOV is contributing its expertise in technology solution mapping, security project management, and innovation procurement to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge solutions by law enforcement practitioners. 💼 INTERCEPT is built on the solid foundations laid by the i-LEAD project and will launch a Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) action to develop and implement tailor-made solutions for law enforcement.
