Grazie 24 Ore Eventi e Confindustria Toscana per averci ospitato a raccontare la nostra storia e la nostra esperienza sul passaggio generazionale.
In today’s world, leading a business means much more than managing resources. It requires vision, the ability to listen, a sense of responsibility, and the power to inspire. On April 9th, during the Florence stop of the Range Rover Leadership Awards in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore, we celebrated a form of #leadership capable of addressing today’s challenges: generational #coexistence, #genderequity, #flexibility, and #sustainability. The value of the day emerged from the encounter of diverse experiences and perspectives. A collective dialogue that showed how leadership is increasingly becoming a shared act, skillfully moderated by Cristina Casadei, journalist at Il Sole 24 Ore. Sara Funaro, Florence’s first woman mayor, spoke of “governing” as proximity and vision. Francesca Posarelli, President of the Small Industry Committee of Confindustria Toscana, emphasized the shift from individual leadership to a collective model based on active listening and value-driven coherence. Giacomo Di Furia, Chairman of Livith S.p.A. , underlined the importance of human capital, nurtured through 50 annual days dedicated to internal dialogue. Monica Vatteroni, CEO and Founder of EYE2DRIVE, turned an idea into a tech startup guided by empathy and foresight. Gioia Lucarini, CEO of Relief srl, demonstrated the power of distributed and functional leadership. Barbara Fani, CEO of BettaKnit (Techstars ‘25), proved it’s never too late to change your life, founding a sustainable fashion startup. Maria Graziani, President of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confindustria Toscana and Board Member of Graziani srl, together with Elena Pozzi, stressed the urgency of actively managing generational transition—an urgency echoed by Leonardo Bagnoli, President of Sammontana S.p.A., who reminded us that leadership is built in the field. Paolo Sodi, CEO of Sodi Scientifica Srl, reminded us that “you must be before you do.” Vincenzo Zampi, Professor of Business Management and Innovation at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, reflected on the use of #AI in #SMEs—combined with intuition and humanity. Weronika Jankowska-Tofani defined future leadership as an act of care. Franco Bertoli, Coaching Advisor and former captain of Italy’s national volleyball team, reminded us that leadership arises from the energy we embody. Lorenzo Becattini, President of Firenze Fiera S.p.a., illustrated the impact of a simple and sustainable approach. Eugenio Giani, President of the Regional Government of Tuscany, celebrated the Tuscan model: widespread, artisanal, and attractive to talent. Within this context, the Leader by Example 2025 award was born—to honour those who lead with vision and generate value for people, organizations, and communities. The Range Rover Leadership Awards is not just a roadshow. It’s an invitation to rethink leadership. Together. With vision, courage, and connection to the land. #RangeRoverLeadershipAwards #Leadership #SMEs #Innovation
