What an incredible few days at Dublin Coffee Festival 2025 showcasing MONIN and Tall Order across two busy stands. It was brilliant to chat with so many of you about our coffees and to see lots of you head home with a bag to brew. There was great excitement around MONIN’s new 2025 innovations: Blackcurrant, Rhubarb and Toasted Marshmallow and huge interest in Matcha Ninja, with their iced matcha recipes proving a hit across the weekend. This week, we had an amazing opportunity to visit MONIN HQ in France with our friends from Applegreen. After a quick pitstop at the Eiffel Tower, we headed to Bourges where we were welcomed with exciting innovation sessions in the studio with Raphaël Duron and the beverage expert team, tasting some of the new product developments launching in 2025. We had the pleasure of meeting Oliver Monin and received a behind-the-scenes tour of the production facilities to see where the magic happens. We wrapped up at the stunning MONIN Villa enjoyed some delicious drinks, and made an all important visit to the gift shop before returning back to Ireland full of ideas!

We hosted the #MONINCup2024 Ireland Final earlier this month at Dublin Bar Academy, where young bartenders from across Ireland impressed us with their creative no & low alcohol cocktails under the theme "Low is More." Thank you to all 18 finalists for their outstanding efforts - our judges were blown away by the innovation on display! Congratulations to Alessandro Nikolla was crowned champion on the day! Alessandro will now go on to represent Ireland at the MONIN Cup Global Final in France and enjoys a prize trip to the Bar Convent Berlin 🍸 A big thank you to our panel of judges: MONIN UK&I Senior Beverage Expert Lee Hyde and Beverage Expert Tony Kousoulou, Bewleys Coffee Ltd | B Corp Head of Coffee Culture Julia Murray & Teeling Whiskey Company Brand Ambassador Adam Wall, and to Dublin Bar Academy for hosting. The FSL team is excited for tonight's All-Ireland Final of the Irish Restaurant Awards 2024, where MONIN Ireland is proudly sponsoring this year’s Best Cocktail Experience 🏆 From an incredible 160,000 public nominations, 130 competitors were chosen to compete in a two-day event at Dublin Bar Academy. These talented mixologists showcased their creativity, inspired by iconic movies, under this year’s theme “Lights, Camera, Cocktails!” directed by MONIN. As one of Ireland’s most prestigious annual cocktail events, the competition is now affiliated with the International Bar Association World Cocktail Championship. We’re busy getting ready for the Restaurants Association of Ireland Best Cocktail Competition at Dublin Bar Academy next week! Proudly sponsored by MONIN Ireland, this event has become one of Ireland’s most prestigious annual cocktail competitions. Over 125 talented bartenders will compete over two exciting days. The winner will claim the title of Ireland’s Best Cocktail Experience and win a trip to Athens Bar Show this November.
