#EcoPulse returns to the spotlight at the Airbus Summit! Jointly developed by Safran, DAHER and Airbus the distributed hybrid-electric propulsion aircraft demonstrator is being showcased today at the #AirbusSummit (March 24-25), where industry leaders and experts are shaping the future of sustainable aviation. 🛫 After successfully completing its flight test campaign at the end of 2024, EcoPulse delivered crucial insights to help achieve the aviation industry's decarbonization goals for 2050. This pioneering collaboration has provided invaluable expertise in the design, certification, production, and operation of hybrid-electric aircraft. 🛩️ Safran was in charge of developing the EcoPulse distributed hybrid-electric propulsion system, including the six e-Propellers of 50 kW ENGINeUS electric motors each, a 100 kW turbogenerator, a Power Distribution and Rectifier Unit, as well as high voltage power harnesses. 🙌 👉Next stop: the Paris Air Show 2025, where EcoPulse will once again take center stage! #Nomination : Valentin Safir a été nommé Vice-Président exécutif et Directeur de la Global Unit Avionique de Safran Electronics & Defense. Valentin a débuté sa carrière chez McKinsey & Company en 2000, où il a accompagné de grands acteurs industriels dans l'amélioration de leur performance opérationnelle, notamment en Asie-Pacifique. En 2010, il rejoint Labinal (aujourd'hui Safran Electrical & Power) en tant que Directeur de l'amélioration continue et de la supply chain pour l'Europe et l'Asie.En 2013, Valentin devient Président de Matis Aerospace, une joint-venture entre Safran Electrical & Power et Boeing, spécialisée dans les systèmes d'interconnexion électriques. Deux ans plus tard, il prend la direction de l'usine Safran Electrical & Power de Villemur-sur-Tarn. En 2018, il est nommé Président de Safran Engineering Services. Plus récemment, en juin 2022, Valentin a été nommé Directeur des Programmes de Safran Helicopter Engines. La GBU Avionique, qu'il dirige désormais, se distingue par son expertise reconnue dans les commandes de vol, la navigation, les solutions de cockpit, l’éclairage extérieur, les calculateurs critiques et la gestion des données de vol. Elle contribue à la sécurité et à l’efficacité des avions d’aujourd’hui tout en préparant la mobilité aérienne de demain. Nous lui adressons toutes nos félicitations et lui souhaitons beaucoup de succès dans ses nouvelles fonctions !

Le 13 décembre 2024, nos équipes ont transformé notre établissement en un véritable centre de sensibilisation, d’inclusion et d’engagement, en célébrant cette journée avec passion aux côtés de nos associations partenaires ! Des stands ont été installés sur site pour permettre aux personnes en situation de handicap affiliées à l’AMH (Amicale Marocaine des Handicapés), @HADAF, Association Marocaine de Soutien et d'Aide aux personnes Trisomiques de présenter leurs créations et produits, vivement appréciés par nos collaborateurs. L’Association Ghaith d’autisme, Nabda Foundation, l’@Association Sportive De Sale pour les malvoyants, et l’@AssociationMainDansLaMain pour les malentendants ont également proposé leurs services, tout en organisant des activités ludiques et des ateliers de simulation, tels que le parcours à l’aveugle, fauteuil roulant, et l’écriture en braille. En parallèle, une conférence sur le thème « Unissons-nous pour l'inclusion et le respect de chacun » a réuni des intervenants inspirants : Aziza Gannoune, Directrice Générale de Nabda Foundation (1ère salle de sport inclusive au Maroc), idir Ouguindi, Consultant en développement inclusif et handicap, Nabil EL MAAROUFI, Responsable accessibilité numérique chez HPC, expert en technologies d’assistance pour les malvoyants et non-voyants, et Samir GOUNTIT, Professeur de Yoga certifié & Entraîneur physique. L'Association Ghaith a également partagé son expertise sur les défis liés aux troubles du développement neurologique. Des parcours différents, mais tous porteurs d’un message fort : le respect de chacun. Ces interventions ont rencontré un vif succès et ont favorisé une large sensibilisation. Un atelier de Langue des Signes a été mis en place pour briser les barrières de communication. Nous sommes conscients que cet événement n’est pas qu’une journée, mais un véritable mouvement !
