    Today we meet with Paula Salas, Fleet Technical Manager, to talk about her passion for technology within Safran Engineering Services 🙌 ➡️ Can you tell us about your journey? 2009: I studied Aeronautical Engineering in Seville. Then, I completed a final year at the École Centrale de Nantes to obtain a double degree with a focus in composite materials and mechanics. 👩🎓 📚 2015: I completed a 6-month end-of-study internship for Safran Aircraft Engines Villaroche in France. ✈️ 2015-2022: I joined Safran Aircraft Engines as a design office mechanical engineer and moved through different positions working mainly for LEAP engines composite parts. 🌟💼 2023: In the context of an internal mobility to Madrid, I joined Safran Engineering Services Getafe as a Fleet Technical Manager, working as a technical representative to one of our major western Europe customers. 🌐 ➡️ What are your thoughts about Safran Engineering Services? 🤗 Safran Engineering Services provides a unique work environment defined by its human scale and strong relationships among colleagues. 🤝 On a daily basis, it's the technical challenges that primarily drive me. 🏆 Being close to the final product gives me a clear understanding of the impact of my work. I enjoy working closely with clients because it clearly demonstrates the value of our service and it underscores the importance of our mission.     🇬🇧 [ThrowbackThursday] At the beginning of March, I had the pleasure of celebrating International Women's Day through two special events at Safran Engineering Services India 🇮🇳. 1️⃣ The first event brought together all the women from our teams in Bangalore, where we celebrated with a fun active listening contest, emphasizing, how diversity boosts and fuels team performance. It was truly delightful to engage in these simple and genuine interactions. We eventually ended the celebration with sharing cakes: this is also wellbeing at work! 🍰 2️⃣ The second event featured a MasterClass with 50 female students in their first and second years of Engineering, supported by the Lila Poonawalla Foundation - India financially sponsored by Safran Engineering Services India. This initiative is fully aligned with our commitment to support women in science. The day was filled with humor, goodwill and enriching discussions. I shared my journey as a woman in a leadership position with a science background, stepping back in time to address their insightful questions. I look forward to welcoming the most talented graduated women into our teams! A heartfelt thank you to the Lila Poonawala Foundation and to Safran Engineering Services India for fostering these meaningful connections. 🇫🇷 [ThrowbackThursday] Début mars, j'ai eu le plaisir de célébrer la Journée internationale des droits des femmes à travers deux événements au sein de nos équipes de Safran Engineering Services India 🇮🇳. 1️⃣ Le premier événement a réuni les femmes de nos équipes à Bangalore. Nous avons célébré cette journée avec un concours ludique sur l'écoute active, mettant en avant comment la diversité dynamise notre performance collective. Ces moments d’échanges et d’interactions simples ont été vivement appréciés. La session s'est conclue avec le partage de gâteaux : c'est aussi cela la qualité de vie au travail! 🍰 2️⃣ Le second événement était une MasterClass avec 50 étudiantes en première et deuxième années, de parcours ingénieures, soutenues par la Lila Poonawalla Foundation - India et parrainées par Safran Engineering Services India.     🌟 What a week for corporate entrepreneurship at Safran! 🌟 I’m very happy to share the incredible week we just spent. It was a week full of energy, collaboration and innovation! 🛠️ Nine teams of corporate entrepreneurs embarked on their incubation journey at Saclay, diving into corporate entrepreneurship, effectuation, strategy & marketing, innovative project management, design thinking, and prospective. Among them 5 teams were from our "We Love Intrapreneurs" program - dedicated to empowering employees to explore new businesses - and 4 teams were from our "We Love Builders" program - focused on accelerating innovative business projects within Safran. 🤝 I was amazed by the collaboration and dedication of the 39 talented individuals during this first bootcamp. Their high level of motivation and commitment to innovation were truly inspiring, driving forward corporate entrepreneurship at Safran. 🚀 Our internal start-up accelerator shone brightly as two of our internal start-ups, #CosenseAR and #Novalta, presented their pioneering technologies at the #HelloTomorrowGlobalSummit in Paris, while PuRE showcased its cutting-edge carbon capture solution at GLOBAL INDUSTRIE in Lyon. A big congratulations to all participants for their achievements during this first leg of their incubation journey—and hats off to our internal start-ups PuRE, #Novalta, and #CoSenseAR for their impressive achievements within our internal accelerator! 🔧 A special thank you to the Aerogarage team - Jerome Delphin, Joanna Charmaison, Luna Rochut, Brice Poirier, Marceau Perrin, Solveig TIBY - to #SafranCorporateVenture Florent Illat, Jean DUBRUEL, to #SafranCommunication Myriam Akorri, Katleen Radulph to trainers, and coaches who made this week a resounding success.
