Le réseau mondial des architectes L’Union Internationale des Architectes a été fondée à Lausanne (Suisse), le 28 juin 1948, pour unir les architectes de tous les pays du monde, dans la fédération de leurs organisations nationales. Composée lors de sa création de délégations de 27 états, l’UIA rassemble aujourd’hui les organisations professionnelles les plus représentatives des architectes dans 131 pays et territoires. L’UIA est une organisation non gouvernementale accomplie, le seul réseau professionnel des architectes de tous les continents.

  • 📢 #UIA2026BCN Call for Participants is now open! Apply by 16 May 2025 to be part of the UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 Barcelona. The theme “Becoming. Architectures for a planet in transition” will shape the Congress programme as a platform to explore innovative perspectives, interdisciplinary approaches and transformative ideas that address contemporary challenges. Professionals from architecture, landscape architecture, urbanism, design, engineering, research, photography, film and art are invited to participate with projects, essays or multimedia pieces. UIA2026BCN aims to bring together knowledge across research, practice and education to generate new perspectives and strengthening connections between disciplines. Wendy Y. Tsai led the interior design, ensuring a cohesive architectural journey from façade to interior, balancing heritage elements with modern elegance. From a muted sandstone and silver-grey travertine palette to 3.7m-tall panoramic clubhouse windows, every detail enhances the building’s boutique character.
