Another round of figures from the latest Architects' Council of Europe (ACE-CAE) Sector Study. 📈 Revenues are up 📈 Salaries are up 📈 Inflation is up ➡️ So… everything stays the same. Architecture is stagnant. Even the gender pay gap has barely moved in the last 10 years. In 2024, the average annual income of a European architect was €45,000 pre-tax. For Partners or Directors, that figure rose to just €55,000 pre-tax. It’s hard to feel optimistic.
