🌸 ‘Art in the Orchard": promoting nature conservation among younger generations with Pink Lady® Europe🌿🇮🇹 Last weekend, Pink Lady® Europe was delighted to welcome families for a morning of discovery, creativity and nature in the heart of the Italian orchards in full bloom. 🐝 The aim was to treat children to a fun and educational immersion in the world of a Pink Lady® orchard, to help them understand the importance of biodiversity and the essential role that everyone plays in its preservation. Because without pollinating insects, there would be no apples! 🎨 Thanks to the Fatti d'Arte - Associazione culturale, children were able to explore the orchard in a fun way, through workshops designed to arouse their curiosity while reconnecting them to their environment. 🧑🌾 Giuliano Donati, a Pink Lady® grower, also shared his know-how and presented the sustainable agricultural practices implemented in his orchard for the preservation of biodiversity. Nature and our Pink Lady® Europe orchards are stirring with the arrival of spring 🌸🐝 🌿 Spring is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful times of the year. Our orchards are really exploding into life! The apple trees are covered in exquisite blossoms and the whole of biodiversity is coming alive. 🧑🌾 This is a crucial time for our growers, because it is during this short period (from 2 to 10 days) that insects get into action and pollinate the apple blossom, which then leads to fruiting. Without them, there would be no apples. All the more reason to take care of these tiny creatures, which guarantee the success of our harvest. 📖 That is why Pink Lady® Europe has set up the BeePink® programme to support its growers in adopting best practices for the preservation of these precious pollinators. Pink Lady® Europe is proud to have been a partner of the Vasaloppet 30KM in Sweden for the fifth year in a row! ⛷️🇸🇪 Vasaloppet is an iconic event: it is the oldest and biggest cross-country ski race in the world, and brings together over 40,000 enthusiasts every year. It is one of the world’s major ski competitions, and combines tradition, performance and self-discipline. On this occasion, Pink Lady® Europe once again supported the skiers by offering them a healthy, tasty, energy-filled break. 💪🍎 Pink Lady® apples are an ideal snack to fuel physical activity: they combine pleasure and health benefits. Our presence on site was a resounding success, with more than 8,000 visitors coming to our stand to experience Pink Lady®! These intense days dedicated to sport and shared pleasure featured tastings, pleasant chats and friendly moments. A look back at our Pink Lady® pop-up store in Madrid! 🍎🇪🇸 Last February, Pink Lady® Europe took up residence on the legendary Gran Vía, the most dynamic avenue in the Spanish capital.
