Emmanuel Macron did a fantastic speech during the Economic Forum France-Denmark last week… 🇫🇷🤝🇩🇰 …Underlining that “We need more investments” in Europe and saying that “If we want to be at the right scale at the right speed, we have to keep the savings at our continent” 🌍📈 We actually must admit that we had some quite impressive speakers during the #Danishstatevisit2025 including H.M. King Frederik X of Denmark 👑. It was a week full of moments that we will cherish; meeting professionals in extraordinary settings and enjoying moments of interesting political and economic discussions, culture and business exchanges 🏛️✨. Karen-Luise Johansen Geslin, Senior Investment Manager with a focus on Cleantech 🌱, took part in the Energy team’s programme where the Danish and French ecosystem within renewable energy production had great opportunities to discuss how to secure investments and energy security for Europe. INVEST’s focus areas such as Wind & PtX where Denmark has a strong commitment were put in the centre during many discussions relating to the advantage of sector coupling. Andréa Saragoussi, Investment Manager in Life Science 🧬, reflects on the State Visit, reaffirming Denmark’s position as a leading hub for life sciences and an ideal destination for international partnerships 🌐🤝. Karoline Stengaard Bang Buhl, Intern, worked with the Embassy’s Defence department during the State Visit and in a very concrete and inspiring manner witnessed how companies are collaborating across borders to strengthen Europe's defence industry and security 🛡️🇪🇺. State Visit to France : Recap of Day 3 with sites visits 🇩🇰🤝🇫🇷 Energy Collaboration ⚡🌱 During a cruise conference on the Seine, Danish and French energy stakeholders explored how both countries can learn from each other and strengthen the resilience of our energy systems through sector coupling. Their Majesties and the Mayor of Paris, Mrs. Anne Hidalgo, joined the discussions, focusing on resilience and green urban development against the backdrop of the Paris Climate and Energy strategy. Mairie de Paris Centre, Anne Hidalgo, Pierre Rabadan, Danish Energy Agency Healthcare Innovations 🏥💡 The Danish delegation was warmly welcomed at Hopital Foch for a roundtable on hospital resilience. Discussions centered around promoting a resilient workforce, patient empowerment, and public involvement. Key departments showcasing innovations in lung transplants, patient experience, and neuroradiology were toured. H.M. The Queen and Mme. Brigitte Macron visited the maternity ward, led by Head of Service Jean-Marc Ayoubi, where they were introduced to the hospital's research and technological innovations. Jacques LEGLISE, Jakob W. The state visit from Denmark to France has just concluded, marking three intense days of exchanges and networking for the 56 participating companies. This visit provided a unique opportunity to develop concrete French and Danish partnerships that are likely to strengthen cooperation, innovation, and strengthen European resilience. France – Denmark: An European partnership for a resilient future. This morning, the official delegation met for the opening of the Economic Forum at Palais Brongniart in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron 🇫🇷 and Ms Macron, the King and Queen of Denmark 🇩🇰, Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Minister of Health Sophie Løhde, Minister of Defence Troels Lund Poulsen, and Minister of Climate and Energy Lars Aagaard. The Danish trade delegation of 56 companies and its political and economic partners in France marks the beginning of political and economic meetings and exchanges, notably around the theme of the state visit: France – Denmark: An European partnership for a resilient future 🌍. Three key sectors are highlighted during this visit: health, defence, and energy. Areas where the two nations have so much to offer and explore together. I morgen siger vi ’Bonjour Paris’, når Kongeparret er på statsbesøg i Frankrig.   Statsbesøget er ikke kun diplomati på øverste hylde. Det er også en bekræftelse af det stærke bånd mellem Frankrig og Danmark, der er særligt vigtigt i denne usikre tid geopolitisk.   Et statsbesøg er med til at styrke det kulturelle, økonomiske og politiske relationer mellem to lande.
