Coloplast South Africa recently had the pleasure of hosting the Emerging Markets Leadership Team (EMLT) at our Head Office in Sandton, Johannesburg. As it happens, their visit coincided with our Mid-Year NSM, and they had the opportunity of being exposed to the intricate details of the South African business by our ZA Leadership Team, who shared some key insights and best practice learnings, further solidifying South Africa as a key strategic market within the Emerging Markets (EM) region. Furthermore, the EMLT had the opportunity of meeting with OMS Medical, who play a pivotal role in the distribution of our Wound Care and Ostomy Care portfolios in the Public Sector, driving access to our product and service offerings to a potentially large addressable market of State Sector patients. OMS Medical, led by Dustin Smith and Julain Moonsamy, held engaging conversations with Thomas Christian Bruhn, SVP of Emerging Markets, and Lars Nilaus, Vice President of EM, IMEA & Distributor Markets, outlining their five-year plan for amplifying access to our portfolio in the local market. Additionally, our very own Consumer Care Lead, Roxanne De Beer, was also presented with her “Consumer Colleague Of The Year Award” by Thomas Christan Bruhn, SVP of Emerging Markets, for her outstanding work in playing a key role in the launch of Coloplast Care in the South African Market, adding an extra value-added service that our consumers have welcomed with open arms. What a visit – and an honour! 🤝 Coloplast was privileged to participate in Denmark's State Visit to France, where His Majesty King Frederik X and Her Majesty Queen Mary of Denmark met with French President, Emmanuel Macron, government officials and business representatives, to discuss the future of Europe and the impact of strong partnerships on the healthcare, energy and defence sectors. Our symposium, ‘Micro-hole Zone catheters: Improving patient outcomes’, led by our medical experts Rikke Vaabengaard, Kim Barken, Lene Feldskov Nielsen and Karen Tomlin, was a big success with a full room leading to meaningful discussions. The session about urine sediments and the patient’s case was particularly appreciated.
