Swedish delegation visits Vossloh in Leipzig 📢🚆 On 9 April, we had the honour of welcoming around 40 participants from a Swedish organization focusing on welding in the rail sector to our Rail Center in Leipzig. The delegation was made up of companies that provide welding services and customers from the rail infrastructure sector. The guests were able to experience our comprehensive portfolio live on site - both stationary in our long rail plant and during mobile welding with our road-rail truck. This vehicle was already successfully deployed on several construction sites in Sweden last year and once again demonstrated how flexible and efficient mobile welding solutions can be. A big thank you to all participants for the exciting exchange! Rail Maintenance at High Speed in Stockholm! ✨🚆 We are pleased to announce our cooperation with Strukton Rail AB for rail grinding in Stockholm!  High Speed Grinding effectively removes small to medium rail defects and avoids expensive rail replacement in the future. The HSG-city runs at up to 60 km/h in timetable operation. We will be working on around 110 kilometers of track in the Stockholm metro network. Das "Wiesel ist zurück" - auf der Wieslauftalbahn war der HSG-city für die erfolgreiche Wiederinbetriebnahme nach Hochwasserschäden im Einsatz 🚄✨ Nach der schweren Überschwemmung im Juni 2024 konnte die Wieslauftalbahn zwischen Schorndorf und Rudersberg nun offiziell wieder in Betrieb genommen werden – und Vossloh konnte einen wichtigen Beitrag dazu leisten! Vom 07. bis 09. April war der HSG-city im Einsatz, um die Schienen final aufzubereiten. Durch gezieltes Schleifen wurde die Korrosion entfernt und die Schienenqualität optimiert, damit der Bahnbetrieb wieder reibungslos starten kann. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Besuch des baden-württembergischen Verkehrsministers am 08. April. Nach einer Besichtigung der Strecke fand um 16:30 Uhr die feierliche „Ministerfahrt“ mit Dr. Richard Sigel, Landrat Rems-Murr-Kreis, Winfried Hermann, Verkehrsminister BaWü, und Thomas Strobl, Innenminister BaWü, ab Schorndorf statt – ein bedeutender Moment für die Region und den Schienenverkehr im Rems-Murr-Kreis. Wir sind stolz, Teil dieses Infrastrukturprojekts gewesen zu sein und danken allen Beteiligten für die hervorragende Zusammenarbeit. All steps – from unloading the new rails and welding them to loading the old rails – are carried out seamlessly and efficiently. This allows us to complete the entire rail replacement within a single track closure, minimizing downtime.  🔧 Depending on the track structure – whether ballast or slab track – we continuously develop customized solutions together with our customers. This ensures that construction sites are optimally managed and perfectly adapted to the local conditions. Last weekend, on March 29, 2025, the "Mammutmarsch" (Mammoth march) took place in Hamburg. Our employees took up the challenge and together covered impressive team distances of 42 or 60 kilometers. The start and finish point was in Hamburg City Park. The route took participants along some of Hamburg's most beautiful sights, including impressive views of the harbor and the Elbe. The route offered a varied mix of urban and natural sections that impressively showcased the diversity of the Hanseatic city. We are proud that 26 of our colleagues took part in this event and pushed their personal boundaries. Their commitment and perseverance are inspiring and reflect the team spirit of Vossloh Rail Services. We are particularly pleased that we are supporting Die ARCHE Kinderstiftung Hamburg with every kilometer we run - for every single kilometer we donate to the important work of this institution.
