We had the best time at the APS Global Physics Summit in California ☀️⚛️ It was great to reconnect with so many old friends, make so many new ones, and catch up on the world of quantum. It’s amazing to see how much progress has been made in just one year!🙌 One special highlight was Resonance II, the quantum community event we co-hosted with Qblox and 16 other quantum companies. Thanks for a spectacular night everyone, we’re already looking forward to Resonance III 💫 If you missed us at APS, you can catch us next month at #Q2B25 in Tokyo and #QUANTUMatter in Grenoble – see you there!🥳 #APS25 #QuantumComputing

Machine Learning for Science - starting with Quantum Technologies
Info
Qruise develops software that helps scientists and researchers use Machine Learning tools in their day-to-day scientific workflows without having to worry about what's under the hood. ML has revolutionised how science is being done and taking advantage of this new numerical toolset should not require having a full time ML scientist on the team to design, develop and deploy systems. Qruise is developing ML for Science as a productised toolset making ML driven discovery accessible to all. Our first offerings address the growing pains of controlling current generation noisy quantum computers (NISQ devices) and provide improvements in operational fidelities through the use of ML & Quantum Optimal Control.

Ready for the APS Global Physics Summit next week?🔬⚛️ This year, we’ve been focusing on advancing our digital twin software to streamline the development of quantum devices. Using experimental data, users can create a highly accurate digital twin of their system, allowing them to identify which parameters are limiting device performance and how to correct them. This leads to enhanced performance in fewer iterations, accelerating development and eliminating the need for time-consuming trial-and-error testing 💫 Read the abstracts for these and all our other talks & posters now: https://lnkd.in/eFmxJ2ks 🚀 And, as always, don’t hesitate to come say hi at any time! We’ll be at Booth 301 from Tuesday to Thursday! We can’t wait to see you there 👋 Yousof Mardoukhi Anurag Saha Roy #APS25 #QuantumComputing #DigitalTwins

Happy International Women’s Day!🎉 While things have come a long way in recent years, it’s important to recognise that barriers still exist for women, particularly in science and software. We asked our female Qruisers to tell us about their experience… 📈 What kind of challenges have you faced as a woman in science? Dr Ana Laura Gramajo: When I started studying physics, it was discouraging to see how men and women were judged so differently: men’s accomplishments were rarely questioned, while women’s were often doubted or go unrecognised. Some people even claimed women were only hired to fulfil diversity quotas. We must challenge this misconception and encourage women to pursue science ⚛️ Dr Lorena C. Bianchet: As many women experience, I’ve had my work overlooked or credited to others, and encountered inappropriate comments about how I earned opportunities. Dr Kirsty McGhee: There is this idea that women are not as good at science or maths as men. This idea is not only false, but it’s actively harmful. We need to do our best to let other women know how valued they are! Men also need to be aware of these stereotypes and do what they can to support the women around them 👯♀️ 👩🔬 How has the presence – or lack – of women affected you? Lorena: In my research lab, we were all women and that always made me very proud. That’s extremely rare in the quantum technology field. Kirsty: The lack of women in physics has been very apparent, but I’ve been lucky to form strong bonds with the women who were there. Together, we built a supportive environment to build each other up and help each other, rather than compete. Their presence and support has given me a strong a sense of belonging and empowerment 🙌 ✨ What advice would you give to women considering a career in physics? Lorena: Totally do it, it’s totally worth it! To change the field, we need to start with small steps – diversity makes the field richer, and the more we’re around, the more normalised it will be! My best advice is to be confident, trust yourself, and speak loud!📣 Kirsty: You don’t have to change yourself to succeed. You should see your “feminine traits” as strengths, not weaknesses, and just by showing up you’re making a difference for women and girls everywhere!🌍 #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction Swathi Hegde
