It was an inspiring day filled with expert insights, meaningful discussions, and valuable connections. A huge thank you to all speakers for their contributions and to VeriQloud for hosting us! QBN plays a key role in fostering this collaboration by connecting stakeholders, aligning efforts, and accelerating joint innovation across Europe. ▫️ 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is advancing fast. Key technologies like quantum repeaters and memories are maturing, making a European quantum internet more tangible. ▫️ 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 are taking shape. Applications in healthcare, finance, and governance—such as secure medical data deletion and ultra-precise clock synchronization—are guiding development. ▫️ 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝗶𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝘆. A hybrid approach, combining Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), is key to future-proof security. ▫️ 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝐌𝐄𝐬 are driving innovation. Supporting them with market access and funding will be crucial to scaling quantum technologies. ▫️ 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝗕𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫.
