“𝘉𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴.” A wise reminder from Liet van Beuningen at this week’s PYM - the Conscious Investors' Community gathering. This week, La French Tech featured our Co-Founding Partner, Sabine Flechet, as one of the women shaping the future of tech and venture capital in Europe. Her spotlight moment? A reflection on how innovation connects cultures, why mental health must be central to entrepreneurship, and how we can redefine success beyond returns. And true to form, she paid it forward, honoring three remarkable women in the French Tech ecosystem: 💡Hélène Huby 💡Tatiana Jama 💡Celine Lazorthes Brava, Sabine 👏 #WomenOfFrenchTech #MentalHealthInTech #InclusiveLeadership #FrenchTech

#FemmesdelaFrenchTech #WomeninFrenchTech

Name me. Two weeks ago we held the second #SystemicInvestingSummit2025 in London, UK with our partners TWIST: Investing for Systems Change. And what an event it was—buzzing with energy, ideas and connections. One of the standout moments was the ‘poetic provocation’ delivered by community member Ashanti Kunene, who is based in South Africa. When we asked her to help us set the tone and ambition of the Summit, she “took a hike up Table Mountain and asked Mother Earth what she wanted me to say, a black South African woman, travelling to the centre of ‘empire’". A recording of Ashanti’s poem was requested by so many of our participants and we’re delighted to be able to share it here. Thank you Ashanti for your courage in speaking truth to power and for sharing your creativity with us.

Ce chiffre me terrifie. 🌴

Founder & CEO, Prospira Global Global Mental Health Financing & Impact | ESG & Mental Health | Convener Model Expert | World Economic Forum Young Global Leader | Speaker

The last 36 hours in Davos are always a blur... exhausted but energised, here are the key themes from days 4 & 5 that stayed with me: 1. 🌍 President Trump’s address sparked mental health concerns in the US and abroad President Trump’s address was unforgettable—anticipation turned to silence as the gravity of his policy declarations sank in. Limiting genders to "male and female," dismissing DEI as “nonsense,” and plans to withdraw from the WHO sparked profound concerns. That The Trevor Project saw a 33% increase in LGBTQ+ youth seeking help since inauguration was heartbreaking. Globally, the loss of World Health Organization funding will impact many lives. #Leadership decisions like these ripple into people’s lives. 2. 🤖 The Exponential Rise of AI: Hope, urgency, and (for me) some fear AI’s pace of development is staggering. In a late-night conversation with a tech leader, I learned how competitive pressures between companies and nations are driving exponential growth now-what happens in 3-5 years will dwarf what we’ve seen so far. While #AI holds potential to transform industries and even solve mental health challenges, we’re venturing into the unknown without enough understanding of its risks. #Ethical guardrails must keep pace with progress. 3. 💪 Investing in Resilient Leadership Is Needed More Than Ever On Friday morning (despite Thursday’s famously late night at Barry's Piano Bar!), Paralympian Champion Birgit Skarstein moderated an incredible discussion on resilient leadership. She shared how resilience is a common trait among Olympic champions and essential for leadership in a fast-changing world. Leadership today isn’t just about grit—it’s about adapting, thriving & supporting others through transformation. 4. 👩💻 Businesses are still grappling with Gen Z expectations in the workplace Gen Z dominated many conversations this week, as leaders grapple with their desire for purpose, belonging & mental health support. At Prospira Global, we often see these expectations misaligned with what workplaces offer. Discussions reinforced the importance of clarity, intergenerational collaboration, balancing tech with connection, and being transparent. 5. 🧠 ‘Brain Capital’ presented as a unified economic case for mental health The WEF and McKinsey’s “#BrainCapital” initiative aims to unify mental health, neurological health, and cognitive performance as one investment case. While there is value in a united framework, I worry it could water down solutions for specific mental health needs & rights - this isn't just an economic issue. Davos is always a rollercoaster—equal parts inspiring & overwhelming. This year was also a huge privalege to attend on an official badge, and I can not thank the incredible The Forum of Young Global Leaders team enough, led by Ida Jeng Christensen & Mahmoud Jabari for everything that made this week possible. It has been an invaluable week in moving the agenda forward together! #WEF25 Dr Ruma Bhargava Andy Moose
