Following the successful soft launch of our Qiskit Function for select customers in early February, we are thrilled to present the 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗮𝘆 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿 at the American Physical Society's Global Summit.
Now officially available on IBM’s Qiskit Functions Catalog, the Iskay Quantum Optimizer unlocks new possibilities for tackling large-scale optimization problems on IBM’s quantum systems. This achievement will contribute to the fast lane of Kipu Quantum technologies to consolidate quantum advantage.
𝗔 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆:
“This function, built on the BF-DCQO algorithm, is an excellent example of a heuristics for optimization applications, which has the potential to drive us as a community faster to quantum advantage. I’m looking forward to learning more about how optimization researchers use the function on IBM’s quantum systems, in their quantum workflows." – Jay Gambetta, VP, IBM Quantum
We are delighted to have our product, Iskay Quantum Optimizer, featured in the IBM Qiskit Functions Catalog. This collaboration with IBM underscores our commitment to providing co-designed #quantumsolutions recognized by leading hardware innovators. The incredible efforts and brilliance of our team have resulted in a technology that can outperform other quantum algorithms and classical solvers at quantum-utility-level for exploring real-world applications – Daniel Volz, CEO of Kipu Quantum
The Iskay Quantum Optimizer combines Kipu’s best quantum optimization #algorithm to date with 𝗕𝗙-𝗗𝗖𝗤𝗢 running highly-compressed quantum circuits and efficient post-processing performed all automatically under the quantum hood. As it is compatible with all IBM quantum processors, its performance will follow the always-accelerating development of #superconducting quantum computers.
The application is now available to members of the IBM Quantum Network including Fortune 500 companies, academic institutions, and research labs.
